El pasado jueves 16 de noviembre del año 2023 tuvimos la oportunidad de asistir a una rueda de prensa en el centro comercial Las Virtudes, donde se anunció el evento Only Statics 2° edición organizado por Street Workout Community junto con Falcón Street Workout con el soporte de Hive Blockchain. El evento se realizó el sábado 18 de noviembre del año 2023. Se trato de una competencia de calistenia y street workout, que consiste en realizar ejercicios de fuerza, resistencia equilibrio con el propio peso corporal, utilizando barras estructuras.
Last Thursday, November 16, 2023, we had the opportunity to attend a press conference at the Las Virtudes shopping center, where the event Only Statics 2nd edition was announced, organized by Street Workout Community together with Falcón Street Workout with the support of Hive Blockchain. The event took place on Saturday, November 18, 2023. It was a calisthenics and street workout competition, which consists of performing strength, endurance and balance exercises with your own body weight, using bars and structures.
La rueda de prensa fue organizada por Falcón Street Workout y Street Workout Community, dos grupos de profesionales de la calistenia y el street workout, que tienen como objetivo promover esta disciplina deportiva y crear una comunidad de apoyo y motivación. El propósito de la rueda de prensa era dar a conocer a la población, por medio de los medios digitales, el evento Only Statics 2° edición, que sería el primer evento de este tipo en la región. También informamos que el evento contaría con la presencia de reconocidos atletas de esta diciplina.
The press conference was organized by Falcón Street Workout and Street Workout Community, two groups of professionals in calisthenics and street workout, whose goal is to promote this sports discipline and create a community of support and motivation. The purpose of the press conference was to inform the population, through digital media, about the event Only Statics 2nd edition, which would be the first event of this kind in the region. We also informed that the event would have the presence of recognized athletes of this discipline.
Entre todo lo bueno, aprovechamos la ocasión para recorrer el centro comercial y ver las instalaciones donde se realizaría la competencia. Nos gustó mucho la amplitud, la modernidad y la variedad de opciones que ofrece el Las Virtudes. Tiene varios locales comerciales con artículos a precios muy bajos, varias zonas de comida, un cine, 2 parques infantiles, un gimnasio de alta categoría con un spa y fisioterapia. Además, cuenta con un diseño arquitectónico muy atractivo, que combina elementos tradicionales y contemporáneos, creando un ambiente acogedor, elegante y familiar.
Among all the good things, we took the opportunity to tour the shopping center and see the facilities where the competition would take place. We really liked the spaciousness, modernity and variety of options that Las Virtudes offers. It has several commercial premises with items at very low prices, several food areas, a cinema, 2 playgrounds, a high-end gym with a spa and physiotherapy. In addition, it has a very attractive architectural design, which combines traditional and contemporary elements, creating a cozy, elegant and familiar atmosphere.
La pasamos súper bien recorriendo el centro comercial, viendo las vitrinas, probándonos ropa, comprando algunos artículos, degustando comida, tomándonos fotos y disfrutando del ambiente festivo y sobre todo practicando calistenia en los pasillos.
We had a great time touring the shopping center, looking at the windows, trying on clothes, buying some items, tasting food, taking pictures and enjoying the festive atmosphere and above all practicing calisthenics in the hallways.
