Hello Hive-Community, I hope you guys are still okay. My situation has not changed. I still can't work because of the lockdown. So I'm enjoying the time with my camera at home. 😎
Home Alone is a series of lightpainting images of the last days, with things I could find in my household.
In this shot I have illuminated a few toothpicks and then I placed a rotation in the middle.
First I exposed the toothpicks with a macro lens (40 mm), then I swapped the lens (to Sigma 28-70 mm) and the tripod to create the rotation at a different place.
It was one of my first attempts to swap the lens during exposure and I must say I'm really excited about what is possible with this kind of technique.
Another shot with the same technique.
Everything is far from perfect, but I am motivated to find out what is still possible.
How did I become aware of this kind of photography?
I am lucky to be in a community that is incredibly creative and inspires me permanently. After seeing mind blowing shots by @fadetoblack and @martbarras my interest was awakened to explore this technique more deeply.
If you want to see images that really blow you away, check out the portfolio of these amazing artists!
If you want to take a closer look at this technique, @fadetoblack has published a tutorial about it. ➡️ The dark Art of Lens Swap
And now I wish you a relaxed and creative weekend.
The images were taken in several steps, during a longexposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
Peace, Love and Light

Nice work mate, I also can't work just now and need to get off my backside and shoot something! Thanks for the inspiration :-)
Thanks a lot Chris! Not being able to work frustrates me a little because I have to earn money to pay my monthly expenses. I hope this nightmare ends soon. Lightpainting distracts me at the moment and puts me in a good mood. I keep my fingers crossed that you can go back to work soon.
