Good evening, blogging friends, how are you looking? Here I am again in this community, where I think I'll be posting often during this time where I'm buying and renovating my house. I've been a bit absent from Hive these days because I've been renovating my house. My new house has several jobs to do, it's unfurnished, and there are many things to take care of, including bureaucratic details like installing gas, electricity, and water. Meanwhile, my husband and I took care of a fairly important part that needed to be done as soon as possible: getting rid of the mold. Not that we have a lot of mold, but the previous owner lived only downstairs and upstairs, keeping only closets and desks. Unfortunately, a nasty mold had grown behind these pieces of furniture, and since that's where we'll be installing the bedroom, we decided to take care of it right away. First, we went to a very famous local supermarket for home improvement and handicrafts, called Brico, and you can find absolutely everything there. They have everything you could possibly need for DIY, from tools and paints to decorations and ornaments, to specialized and non-specialized equipment—in short, you can find everything here! In fact, we even took the opportunity to pick up some paint.

We chose a simple white paint. It's fine to start with, but when we have more time, we'll paint some rooms in other colors, and I plan to make some very unique. In the meantime, we used that paint to cover the bulk of the walls, and then we bought a product that was a lifesaver: a mold-removing spray. It's a bit expensive; to remove all the mold from the side of the room, we had to use two, but I have to say it works great. You just spray it on (be sure to wear gloves and a mask because it's toxic), let it sit for half an hour, and then remove it with wet sponges or abrasive sponges if the mold is particularly stubborn. It wasn't an easy job; we had to air the room out a lot afterward, but now we've cleaned it and will start painting it in the next few days. These mold-removing sprays are very useful for small to medium-sized surfaces and are easy to use. I'm going to say goodbye now, I'm off to make dinner, and I'll see you for my next housework. There's so much to do!

STOPWhen you paint everything white, it is best to get an air conditioner for heating because it can also dry things out. Mold always appears where there are large differences in humidity and temperature between the outside and inside.

Luckily in our case the problem of mold was only in dome rooms because was closed for many years in the first floor ther is no mold. By the way we plan to use the air conditioner for humidity in winter in the rooms with the mold just for precaution.
