Llegó diciembre y con él comencé a desempolvar esas cosas que he hecho en el año (y que sigo haciendo) y no les he contado, por la misma dinámica de "o hago o escribo, las dos no puedo" 😊. Y no quería hacerlas por hacerlas; mi principal razón, es que quería que disfrutaran conmigo toda la travesía que me ha tomado el arreglo de mi hogar.
December arrived, and with it I began to dust off those things I've done throughout the year (and continue to do) that I haven't told you about, due to the same dynamic of “either I do it or I write about it, I can't do both.” 😊 And I didn't want to do them just for the sake of doing them; my main reason was that I wanted you to enjoy with me the whole journey that fixing up my home has taken me on.
Recuerdo que en enero hice mi Vision Board acá en la comunidad y obviamente que tengo que hacer ese examen de rigor, para saber si me desvié o no de mis objetivos principales.
Les adelanto que no será una sola publicación porque no puedo encerrar, ni en 2 mil palabras, el paso a paso de los sí y los no de remodelar mi hogar; saben, si no lo hago así, no soy yo 😊.
I remember that in January I made my Vision Board here in the community, and obviously I have to do that rigorous review to see if I strayed from my main goals or not. I'll tell you in advance that it won't be a single post because I can't sum up, even in 2,000 words, the step-by-step process of the dos and don'ts of remodeling my home; you know, if I don't do it this way, it's not me 😊.
Lo único que puedo decir es que: yo no puedo hacer algo así tipo normal "vamos a pintar esa pared" y listo, se toma la pintura, brocha y ya. No señor, yo voy a pintar una pared y termino cambiando el techo 🙃 ¡No puedo seguir así! 🤣.
Realizaré una compilación de arreglos y compras que no sé si entrarán en alguna categoría, pero creo que encaja en todas porque se trata de reseñas, contarlo todo, despedir el desorden y dar tips de ahorro en lo que tiene que ver con las compras del hogar. Será una colección para poder iniciar el 2026, con otra lista y dar por terminadas esta.
All I can say is that I can't do something like “let's paint that wall” and that's it, grab the paint, brush, and go. No, sir, I'm going to paint a wall and end up changing the ceiling. I can't go on like this! I'll make a compilation of repairs and purchases that I don't know if they'll fit into any category, but I think they fit into all of them because they're reviews, telling everything, getting rid of clutter, and giving money-saving tips on household purchases. 🏡 Lo primero fue atacar el vision board con los cambios en el jardín. Pusimos el techo, abrimos el espacio para el portón (ya podemos meter la Tundra 😉), arreglamos el escombro, arreglamos las paredes y hasta limpiamos el tanque, que si me ve sanidad, me lleva presa 😱. La labor fue lenta, pero segura. Todavía faltan cosas, pero les contaré el paso a paso.
🏡 Puertas adentro, los cambios también fueron notorios y significativos. Colocamos el piso, dando un giro 180º a como se veía mi hogar; cubrí algunas paredes, hice reparaciones en las paredes y pintamos. Suena fácil, pero créanme que ¡HAY SORPRESAS!
🏡 Hicimos compras importantes para el hogar. Era un proyecto que teníamos en puerta y mes tras mes, seguíamos posponiéndolo, hasta que se dio. Estoy muy emocionada porque nuestra calidad de vida mejoró, y eso nos tiene muy felices.

We put the roof on, opened up the space for the gate (now we can get the Tundra in 😉), cleared away the rubble, fixed the walls, and even cleaned the tank, which, if the health department sees me, will take me to prison 😱. The work was slow but steady. There are still things to do, but I'll tell you about it step by step. 🏡 Inside, the changes were also noticeable and significant. We laid the floor, giving my home a 180-degree makeover; I covered some walls, made repairs to the walls, and we painted. It sounds easy, but believe me, there are surprises! 🏡 We made some important purchases for the home. It was a project we had been planning for a while, and month after month, we kept putting it off until it finally happened. I am very excited because our quality of life has improved, and that makes us very happy.
Y aunque quedaron algunas cosas pendientes, les puedo asegurar, desde ya, que con bajo presupuesto, podemos hacer grandes cambios en nuestro hogar. Y les hablo no solo desde lo estético, sino desde lo funcional, porque nada más acogedor que "una llave que abre y cierra sin goteo, una puerta que no rechina o un baño que provoque hasta comer allí dentro" ¿Sí o no?
Así que aquí les dejo este adelanto y prometo contarles todo antes de terminar el año, para que se contagien de esta energía navideña y puedan cerrar el año con un hogar tan lindo, como el que queremos mostrar en nuestra comunidad 😎.
