Problems solved when recycling!
Hello dear of this community, a while ago, rather a few days ago, I made some repairs to my living room furniture and since we must take advantage of everything and take advantage of what seems to no longer have use, I got to work , to make some Coaster. 🍷
Who would have imagined that from something I repaired at home, I would take advantage of it for the same use in our dining room area or anywhere in our home. Like the much-loved Coaster. The truth is that the idea fascinated me, because I already had everything and I didn't have to go out and buy anything at all, recycling really is valuable.
Let's not wait any longer!
Life has become a little more complicated between expenses and so many other reasons that we really must manage money and our resources very, very well. Therefore, the idea of creating a Coaster was great, because more for this December season and even for the rest of the year to come, always place the cups that very often moisten the surfaces and leave those unpleasant stains after we have cleaned our home, that causes a bit of annoyance, or at least to me, since I like everything clean. These Coaster with recycling material are really what I expected. We started like this, to give a result even better than I imagined in my expectations.

Materials ☑
I will make several Coaster, with a piece of leather from the furniture I repaired, and these are simply to test how they will look, this way I can make more, since nothing is lost, when it comes to recycling. The materials, ✄ upholstery leather, ✄ nylon upholstery thread, ✄ scissors, ✄ sewing machine, ✄ tape measure, ✄ pencil or marker, whatever you like to mark the measurements.and hands to work, to create what we want to do.

To start, we use the pencil or marker, and with the tape measure we mark, it can be 10 centimeters, 12 or 14 centimeters, I made it 12 centimeters. Mark and continue to cut, which is usual in this case.

When I have cut both sides for the cup holder, then they look like this. The leather is really good, and using the parts that are in perfect condition even more so. We economize and give value to recycling material.

Now yes, we continue, one of the most exciting things is sewing, because that is when you really give shape to what you imagined and that you manage to create.

Now on the sewing machine, we are going to sew in a simple linear stitch, that's what I call it, since I'm not an expert, but I like it and it looks delicate. We join both sides and sew it to the square. You can sew a bag type and take the fabric from the inside out or simply like what I created on this occasion.

How easy and how good it feels to do something useful for our home with recycling materials, since at home nothing is thrown away, everything has value. In this case, we use the sewing machine, the corresponding thread and the upholstery leather for the Coaster.

It was a pleasure to share this sewing and recycling activity for the making of upholstery leather coasters, which were economical to buy, even in terms of labor as well. This is the great thing about practicing with our own sewing machine and what we don't know we learn too.
