Matthew 19:23-24.
23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

God who created man in His own image, knows every one's heart. He knows the heart of the poor and the heart of the rich.

Hebrews 4:13 states, " Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account".

Everything we are doing as human beings are being watched by our Creator who watches us from a distance.Christ had a discourse with His disciples regarding the rich man's breaking with Christ. Christ took occasion from this to show the difficulty of the salvation of the rich people. Then Jesus said to His disciples, " I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again, I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God"

This is vehemently asserted by our Saviour, Jesus Christ. He said this to His disciples who were probably poor and had but little in the world, to reconcile them to their condition with this, that the less they had of worldly wealth, the less hindrance they had in the way to heaven. It should be a satisfaction to them who are in a low condition, that they are not exposed to the temptation of a high and prosperous condition. But the rich are exposed to a lot of temptation as 1Timothy 6:9-10 opines, "People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs".

Jesus Christ said that it is hard thing for a rich man to be a good Christian and to be saved and to enter into the kingdom of heaven. The way to heaven is to all a narrow way and the gate that leads into it, a straight gate, but it is particularly so to the rich people.

The disciples were exceedingly amazed and asked, "Who then can be saved? Jesus said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." It is not necessarily mean that if you are poor, heaven is an automatic for you. Heaven is for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord and those who have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

1 John 2:15-17 counsels, " Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world-- the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does-- comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever."

Brethren, let us strive to enter into the eye of a needle irrespective of our race or our status. Heaven is for all and it is real. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul ? Matthew 16:26.

The disciples left everything and followed Jesus Christ. If indeed, we are followers of Christ, we have to leave everything and follow Christ for our salvation. Jesus Christ loves you and wants you to be His friend.

Pray for forgiveness of your countless sins, He is ever ready to forgive you. REPENT! FOR CHRIST JESUS IS AT THE DOOR. The peace of God be with you.
