The Lord God Almighty is also a fortress. A fortress is a place to stay before going to fight. After you have dwelled in the refuge for a while and have gotten ready for the battle, it will become your fortress. A fortress is a place where you store your armor, renew your strength, and then go out to battle. For a believer, the Lord isn't only our refuge, He is also your fortress. Jehovah-Nissi isn't only a God who defends; He is also a God who attacks! He is the Divine Fortress for only the true believers.
It was the same God who told Elijah to hide and it was also the One who told him to go forth and fight, after some time.
Goliath had cursed David by the name of his gods but David later defeated him. Goliath was let down by his gods and weapons whereas David was secured by the Almighty God.
Our God never loses a battle: David founded out this truth. Knowing fully well that no evil shall befall anyone who makes the Lord his or her dwelling place. When you make the Almighty God your dwelling place, you must live holy because the Lord is holy.
Some individuals can't be offered the chance to spend time with important people just because they are dirty. If you do not want to short-change yourself of the benefits of living with the Almighty God, then you have to stay from sinful habits. When you make the Lord your fortress, He will deliver you from the evils in this life.
El Señor Dios Todopoderoso es también una fortaleza. Una fortaleza es un lugar para quedarse antes de ir a luchar. Después de que hayas habitado en el refugio por un tiempo y te hayas preparado para la batalla, se convertirá en tu fortaleza.

Jehová-Nissi no es sólo un Dios que defiende; ¡Él también es un Dios que ataca! Él es la Fortaleza Divina sólo para los verdaderos creyentes.
Fue el mismo Dios quien le dijo a Elías que se escondiera y también fue quien le dijo que saliera y peleara, después de algún tiempo. Goliat había maldecido a David con el nombre de sus dioses, pero David lo derrotó más tarde. Goliat fue defraudado por sus dioses y armas, mientras que David fue asegurado por el Dios Todopoderoso. Nuestro Dios nunca pierde la batalla: David descubrió esta verdad.
sabiendo muy bien que ningún mal le sobrevendrá al que hace del Señor su morada. Cuando haces del Dios Todopoderoso tu lugar de residencia, debes vivir en santidad porque el Señor es santo. A algunas personas no se les puede ofrecer la oportunidad de pasar tiempo con personas importantes solo porque están sucias. Si no quiere privarse de los beneficios de vivir con el Dios Todopoderoso, entonces debe alejarse de los hábitos pecaminosos. Cuando hagas del Señor tu fortaleza, Él te librará de los males de esta vida.
