The Greatness Of David

in HeartChurch3 years ago

Greatness is being above normal doing, and it is something people can see so greatness is not just what you say, but people needs to know and see that you are great.
So today I will be dealing with the greatness of David.

David, was a man after God's heart, and I think that there are things he did to earn a space in God's heart. Things like being real, feeling remorseful when he messed up.
So I think God loved him for those.

In 1st Samuel 17 verses 17-30, we can see that he did not close his eye from dealing with Goliath .
His brothers knew he was great, so they said to him that he was proud and naughty.

That did not stop him from doing what was good to save and to serve his people.

In the battle field, there was a valley between the Philistines and the Israelites. So bringing it to ourselves, there is always a valley between us and our challenges.
David did not cross over, rather he fling a Stone. So we should not put ourselves where our problems want us to stay rather we should pray and believe God for answers.

When Saul the king tried to discourage David, he told him that Goliath was a warrior from his youth, David told him that he slew a lion and a bear.
We cannot just come out like that and be great without being trained, maybe by people or by situations. For David he was trained by situations.
This situations will make us have personal testimonies.

I don't want to go further, just wanted to employ us to work on ourselves for greatness.

The story shows how conquering fear can make one greater

Yeah David was not afraid and I wounder how he did that seeing that Goliah was a worrior from his youth
