I am one of those who think that the further away we are from God because of sin, the better opportunity we have to confidently come to Him in search of his forgiveness. When David committed adultery and murder against Uriah, that was the best opportunity David saw to acknowledge his sin and come to the Most High God for forgiveness. God hates sin but loves the sinner. It is necessary to trust in the abundant love of God and believe that the magnitude of the crime we have committed does not matter, because God forgives us. We just have to be clear, that once we reach the mercy of God, we must move away from sin.
In this sense, I invite you to meditate on the following biblical portion that says:
Let us approach, therefore, confidently to the throne of grace, to obtain mercy and find grace for the opportune help.
Hebrews 4:16 King James Version (RVR1960)
Father God is very clear with his children, He tells us to approach his throne with great confidence, God passionately listens to us because He loves us in a great way. We must be sure that when we look for him at dawn or at any other time of the day, God is close to us listening to the requests of our hearts. We should not doubt at all that when we have fellowship with Him, we find ourselves at His feet from His throne worshiping Him.
The same word assures us that we reach God's grace and mercy when we confidently approach his throne. God is pleased that we seek and worship him with confidence. He delights from his sanctuary and sends us blessing and eternal life. So the counsel of God is "Come confidently to his throne of grace."
