DAUGHTER

Dear Daughter
Stand on Firm
As the clichéd iroko
When lust's eyes drool around you
Even unto mischief

Your body is a church
An Alabaster box
Tending treasure's tiara
Broken at His feet
Also at your master's feet
Is a priced day
For a breaking

Glory is a scam
Where sacrifice is dead
Your crown only comes
Through the bosom of Obedience

So daughter, be patient
Like the bamboo's childhood
For heaven is. Tsunami of the bliss
Tied to the tail of unbrokenness.

I really liked the language of this poem.

Glory is a scam
Where sacrifice is dead

That line got me.

Great poem
