Perhaps you have asked yourself that question at some point in your life and especially when we are in trouble.
And we ask ourselves, if God hears our requests and loves us so much, why does it seem like it takes so long to answer some of our most urgent requests?
We will look at some possible reasons why God is slow to answer us:

1. Our doubts: the Lord wants us not to doubt His love, power and provision, He wants us to trust Him and reminds us that with faith everything is possible (Mark 9:23)
2. Manipulation: we must remember that God is Lord and we are his servants, so we do not seek to control or manipulate God. We must wait for your reply patiently.
3. Our disobedience: our sin can cause God to retain his merciful hand, and if we refuse to repent, he will withdraw his favor and wait until we face our sin, to respond to us.
4. His desire to teach us: God's greatest desire is to teach us to focus on our spiritual and eternal needs, so that we learn to trust Him in all things, and for everything.
