Assurance of victory.

There is assurance that a child of God can be victorious over the world and its lust or corruptions. ( Joseph in potiphar's house.) When he chose to give away the things of the world, lust of flesh and lust of the eyes just to be able to be victorious over the world and become that which God has promised him in future.
The world here refers to the system and operation of the world this systems includes. ( Philosophies, ideologies, principles, fashion and etc.)
1 John 2:15-17

1. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
2. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
3. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
   The bible mentioned 3 things which ate the
   -Lust of the flesh.
   -Lust of the eyes
   -Pride of life.
   All these are the major things that human leaving on earth pass through and when ever this things are overlooked they turn to be the biggest hinderance to the overcoming power in human.
   How will you be victorious, what are those things you need to do that will tell you are an overcomer.
   How did Jesus overcome the devil's temptation.
   Luke 4:1-13 the bible made us to understand that Jesus christ was able to overcome the devil's temptation by simply resisting the devil when he made it clear to the devil in"Luke 4:12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God." As believers we can appropriate Jesus approach for victory. All this can be achieved through.

• study and memorize the word of God.( Joshua 1:8).
• put off the work of flesh and put on the work of the spirit.( Colossians 3:9-10).
• Resist the devil.
• Live a life of contentment.(1Timothy 6:6)
• Submit your self and pray to God. ( Romans12:1).
  So long we remain in the body, there are diverse temptation but in as much as we have the spirit of God then we shall surely overcome the world. For everyone born of God has overcomes the world.
  Who is it that overcomes the world?
  "Only he who believes in christ the aon of God (1 john5:4-5).
