When God uses a person for his work it can be anyone because God does not measure whether he is good or bad, in short, nobody is perfect in this world. If we look at the Bible, the person God used to take the gospel everywhere were people with errors who rather did not believe in the God of Isrsel.
if we look at the apostle paul man who trusted God in a surprising way, travels and carried the gospel everywhere he was stung by a snake and the wise man did not harm him that if God edited with him there was nothing to harm him .
And who was the apostle Paul before he was an apostle? He was a Pharisee. He persecuted the Christians who preached Christ. He was a bad man, he killed without mercy. But the moment comes when he had his encounter with God.
When Jesus calls him and says: Saul Saul why do you persecute me? Saul responds: who are you Lord? Jesus said to him: I am Jesus here who you persecute, is it hard for you to kick against the stinger?
After this, Saul of Tarsus his Hebrew name goes to the city where Jehovah had commanded him, there begins the well-known apostle Paul, his Roman name to believe in Jesus and also carry the gospel to those he used to pursue. Because God says in one part of the same verse that Paul is his instrument to carry the name of Jesus, and so God is not looking for someone perfect, he only needs a person who is willing to carry out his work who knows and acknowledges that Jesus It exists and it is here that we must preach.
It still baffles me how a man like Saul who was a threat and a great thorn to the flesh of Christian and the Church back then, I wonder how God arrested and still used him to glorify Himself. That draws atterntion to the fact that God can use anybody, yes I mean anyone. Coz
Thank you for sharing your thought, bless you.
In Saul's case, God most likely chose him because he was extremely intelligent.
