Not only does the Bible tell us that God is our Father, but God calls us son. Every son or daughter has the legal right to confidently ask their father.
I will publish the decree; The Lord has said to me: You are my son; I begot you today. 8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, and the ends of the earth as your possession. Psalm 2: 7-8
By accepting Christ you have the right to live without fear of rejection, and you can confidently tell God, you are my father.
15 For you have not received the spirit of slavery to be again in fear, but you have received the spirit of adoption, by which we cry out: Abba, Father! 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God. 17 And if children, also heirs; heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if we suffer together with him, so that together with him we may be glorified. Romans 8: 15-17
Value your status as a child of God and break every curse of rejection scheme and position yourself from the place that Christ has given you as a member of the family of God. You are God's heir and joint heir with Christ.
