There is no such person as an overnight scripturally sound person, you need to study to enhance your growth. The only way you can know God's mind is when you become a student of His word.
Your heart cannot behold what your mind does not know.
Search the scripture diligently, for in it you find life (John 5:39-40).
If you study to show yourself approved unto men, you will continually live to please men. You don't study to quote scriptures, preach a sermon- for men, you study to show yourself approved unto God.
What sponsors nobility is studying (Acts 17:11).
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth"(2 Timothy 2:15 NIV).
It's not how deep you get into the scriptures, it's how deep the scriptures get into you.
