1 Corinthians 13: 4-9,13
4 Love is suffering, it is kind; love is not envious, love is not boastful, it is not puffed up;
5 does nothing wrong, does not seek his own, is not irritated, does not hold a grudge;
6 you do not enjoy injustice, but you enjoy the truth.
7 He suffers everything, he believes everything, he hopes for everything, he endures everything.
8 Love never ceases to be; But the prophecies will end, and tongues will cease, and science will end.
9 For in part we know, and in part we prophesy;
13 And now faith, hope and love remain, these three; But the greatest of these is love.
Loving is so essential that we could affirm that not doing it is like being dead.
God is love and commands us to perform actions of love until we reach the point of being love, like Him.
We know that loving is a risk. God took the risk of loving us and many times we pay him badly, but He does not give up and bless us, and although sometimes we move away, as a good father, he prefers to see us far and well, than close and defeated. The fact is that we always come back because only at his side we achieve fulfillment in life.
Let's learn to overcome boasting, envy, selfishness and rancor that can end love.
God is kind, he is not envious, he is not boastful, he does not pride himself, he does not do anything wrong, he does not hold a grudge, he does not enjoy injustice, but he enjoys the truth. He suffers everything, he hopes for everything, he endures everything. God never ceases to be. This is our father and this is how we should be. In the end the life of faith is strengthened through love.
