Consecrate Your Thoughts

For as he thinks in his heart, so is he... (Proverbs 23:7, NKJV)

Sometimes we need to consecrate what we are thinking about! The scripture made us to understand that what happens in the inner-mind—our thoughts, attitudes and motives—are more relevant to God than what happens on the outward. You can fool people every time by saying the right things, but the bible tells us that God searches at our hearts. He wants our thoughts and attitudes to be consecrated and to be aligned with His Word so that we can see His promises come to existence in our various lives.

Remember, your life will follow the course you set with your mind. When you align your thoughts with God’s thoughts, your life will follow God.

Jeremiah 29:4-7
[4]This is what the lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says to all the captives he has exiled to Babylon from Jerusalem:
[5]“Build homes, and plan to stay. Plant gardens, and eat the food they produce.
[6]Marry and have children. Then find spouses for them so that you may have many grandchildren. Multiply! Do not dwindle away!
[7]And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.

The above scripture tells us that His thoughts are for our good. His thoughts are for our peace. His thoughts are for our own victory! So today, consecrate your thoughts with God's thoughts by meditating on His Word. Embrace His promises so that you can move forward into the life of victory that He has prepared for you!
