HELLO HIVE
It's a beautiful Wednesday morning, and as you step out today, I wish you success on all side, and by the end of the day, you shall have a cause to celebrate, so today I'll love to take you through how I made this pair of slippers for my clients friend.
Though I don't know him, but the person who happen to be my clients came to my store and ask that I help him make a pam slippers for his friend, who as been wearing a thorn slippers all about, and since the friend fail to yield to his advice, to stop wearing such footwear and in the process embarrass him and their others league of friends, he decided to make a footwear for him.
So below are the process of how I made the Slippers.
MATERIALS
- Mickey mouse leather material
- Polyurethane Soles
- Lining
- Gum
- Marco insole
PROCESSES
After purchasing the materials for the upper and the sole, I cut a paper pattern, as a guide to get the perfect shape.
- I place the pattern on the Mickey mouse leather material, and cut out the shape.
- Then I rub gum on the linning and placed the Mickey mouse leather I cut earlier on it, so I can shape them out alongside the linning.
- As I gradually almost complete the Slippers, I tested the upper and a shoe last, to ascertain the right shape and firmness.
- Finally I apply gum on the insole and the Polyurethane Soles, then join them together.
- Here is the Slippers
I stylish ask my clients why I ask me to use a childish material for his friend and he said it's because he usually act childish and love getting things for free instead of spending on himself.
It was funny how some people work, but yet won't take a dine to cater for themselves and meet their own need, but instead keep on Saving and saving, I do wonder if such person drop dead, someone else will ripe the fruit of his labour within a blink of an eye.
In my opinion, we should inculcate the habit of saving, but that shouldn't stop us from meeting our needs or cater for ourselves.
That is a very interesting story of you friend in choosing the material and the design. Yes as you mention, it is good to have saving and a habit of saving, but we should always consider to meet our basic needs also.
Thanks so much for reading through my post, it's truly important for we to meet our basic needs, I hope he learn his lesson.
