Compartir con la familia es uno de esos actos sencillos que, en realidad, lo dicen todo.
No somos iguales ni pensamos de la misma manera, pero hay algo que nos mantiene unidos: la sangre, el amor y el deseo de seguir adelante juntos.
En tiempos difíciles, estos encuentros se vuelven un refugio. Nos recuerdan que existimos, que pertenecemos y que no estamos solos. Algunos no pudieron estar presentes porque la vida y los países nos separaron; otros ya no están físicamente, pero siguen vivos en nuestros recuerdos, en las risas y en cada conversación compartida.
En esta ocasión, mis tíos alquilaron un restaurante solo para la familia, creando un ambiente cálido y acogedor para celebrar los cumpleaños de mis tíos y de mi madre, que coinciden en el mismo mes. Más allá de la comida, lo verdaderamente valioso fue detener el tiempo y disfrutar la alegría de estar juntos.
Mi abuelo tuvo muchos hijos y, gracias a Dios, hoy somos una familia numerosa y unida. Nos apoyamos, nos cuidamos y seguimos adelante, entendiendo que la familia no es perfecta, pero siempre es hogar.

The table was full, and so was the heart
Sharing time with family is one of those simple acts that, in reality, says everything.
We are not all the same, and we don’t always think alike, but something stronger keeps us together: blood, love, and the desire to move forward together.
In difficult times, these gatherings become a refuge. They remind us that we exist, that we belong, and that we are not alone. Some couldn’t be present because life and borders separated us; others are no longer physically with us, but they live on in our memories, in our laughter, and in every shared conversation.
On this occasion, my uncles rented a restaurant just for the family, creating a warm and welcoming space to celebrate the birthdays of my uncles and my mother, who all share the same month. Beyond the food, the most valuable thing was pausing time and enjoying the joy of being together.
My grandfather had many children, and thanks to God, today we are a large and united family. We support one another, we take care of each other, and we keep moving forward, understanding that family is not perfect, but it is always home.
