Saludos a todos los Hivers! en especial a la comunidad de Family&Friends. Es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad y pensé que una buena manera de comenzar era contándoles que a tan sólo unos días de culminar las vacaciones decidí aprovechar ese tiempo y darme una escapadita en familia, visitando algunos sitios accesibles y económicos sin salir de Caracas.
Les comento que resido en los Altos Mirandinos, mi mamá y mi hermana @Marielarc07 viven en Caracas, a menudo voy a visitarlas y a hacer diligencias allá, debido a que por múltiples razones no hemos podido salir de viaje, la semana pasada nos fuimos a la capital con la única intención de disfrutar de aquellas cosas que tanto me gustan y tenía mucho tiempo que no hacía.
Llegamos a Caracas la tarde del día 1 y mi hermana nos estaba esperando con una invitación sorpresa, nos escapamos a una heladería muy peculiar ubicada cerca de la casa de mi mamá, a la cuál a pesar de haber pasado tantas veces por la puerta y haber admirado su llamativa y original decoración no me había decidido a entrar.
La heladería se llama Divinos Pecados y está ubicada en el Centro Plaza, a nivel de la Avenida Francisco de Miranda, es una heladería que llama la atención por su colorida decoración, ofrecen helados de una gran variedad de sabores entre los cuales destacan avellanas, manzana verde, nutella, ron con pasas, los tradicionales vainilla, mantecado, de frutas y hasta sabor a cerveza para los adultos, son servidos en tinitas o en barquillas en diferentes tamaños y de acuerdo al tamaño varía el precio. A mi hijo le encantan las frutas, así que a pesar de la variedad de sabores, se decidió por saborear un exquisito helado de fresa, el cuál poseía un sabor natural de la fruta e inclusive tenía trozos de fresas, por eso me encantó. Mi hermana y yo optamos por unas paletas de Samba (chocolates) muy ricas también.
Greetings to all Hivers, especially to the Family&Friends community. This is my first post in this community and I thought a good way to start was telling you that just a few days before the end of the vacations I decided to take advantage of this time and take a little getaway with my family, visiting some accessible and economical places without leaving Caracas.
I tell you that I live in the Altos Mirandinos, my mom and my sister @Marielarc07 live in Caracas, I often go to visit them and run errands there, because for many reasons we have not been able to go on a trip, last week we went to the capital with the sole intention of enjoying those things that I like so much and had long time that I did not do.
We arrived in Caracas on the afternoon of the 1st and my sister was waiting for us with a surprise invitation, we escaped to a very peculiar ice cream parlor located near my mom's house, which despite having passed by the door so many times and having admired its striking and original decoration I had not decided to enter.
The ice cream shop is called Divinos Pecados and is located in the Centro Plaza, at the level of Francisco de Miranda Avenue, it is an ice cream shop that draws attention for its colorful decoration, they offer a variety of flavors among which are hazelnut, green apple, nutella, rum raisin, traditional vanilla, buttery, fruit and even beer flavor for adults, they are served in tubs or trays in different sizes and according to the size varies the price. My son loves fruits, so despite the variety of flavors, he decided to taste a delicious strawberry ice cream, which had a natural flavor of the fruit and even had pieces of strawberries, so I loved it. My sister and I opted for some Samba popsicles (chocolates), which were also very tasty.
We enjoyed an excellent time and as they say in my country "matamos un antojito", I tell you that if you do not want to eat ice cream, they have a second cafe style environment, where they offer desserts, muffins and coffee. There we bought some delicious little cakes to take away. The attention of the staff is very good and as I told you the access is very easy.
El segundo día nos decidimos por algo más tranquilo y que también teníamos tiempo que no hacíamos, nos fuimos al cine. De manera improvisada también a eso de las 4.00 pm llegamos a una de las salas de cine del Unicentro El Marqués, me extrañó la poca afluencia de público, sin embargo, allí estábamos mi hijo, mi hermana y yo, compramos las entradas rápidamente, los snacks y disfrutamos de una película infantil en familia, se los recomiendo.
The second day we decided to do something quieter and that we had not done for a long time, we went to the movies. In an improvised way also at about 4.00 pm we arrived at one of the movie theaters of the Unicentro El Marqués, I was surprised by the small number of people, however, my son, my sister and I were there, we bought the tickets quickly, snacks and enjoyed a children's movie as a family, I recommend it.
Tomamos el sendero hacia la derecha en la intersección, porque el camino hacia la izquierda conduce a Sabas Nieves, caminamos alrededor de 15 minutos detrás de unas personas porque no recordábamos el camino, pero la verdad es muy fácil sobre todo porque casi todo el camino es plano, de hecho hay un sitio llamado la planada donde es posible divisar buena parte del este de la ciudad a 1078 metros de altura, casi llegando a la quebrada el terreno se pone algo inclinado, y hay unas rocas húmedas por allí por lo que hay que tener bastante cuidado, luego se baja un poco y se llega.
We took the path to the right at the intersection, because the path to the left leads to Sabas Nieves, we walked about 15 minutes behind some people because we did not remember the way, but the truth is very easy especially because almost all the way is flat, in fact there is a place called the planada where it is possible to see much of the east of the city at 1078 meters high, almost reaching the ravine the terrain gets a little steep, and there are some wet rocks there so you have to be quite careful, then you go down a little and you arrive.
Estuvimos inmersos en ese hermoso rincón natural, casi dos horas, luego emprendimos el viaje de regreso, tomamos unas deliciosas cocadas abajo en el puesto de guarda parques y regresamos satisfechos de haber disfrutado de un sencillo y hermoso lugar.
We were immersed in this beautiful natural corner for almost two hours, then we started our return trip, had some delicious cocadas downstairs at the park ranger station and returned satisfied with having enjoyed a simple and beautiful place.

Ending the summer with family is the best thing, however, I still wish the summer would not end :)
It would benefit you to be more active as I see you're not really commenting on other people's post. Hive is a social platform, a wonderful place where you can meet a lot of interesting people, make friends for life.
