A Heartfelt Homecoming: Reuniting with My Dad After Three Years in Poland

Good day, hivers! I am back with another blog today. I'm going to share with you all the moments when we picked up my father at the airport with my family. I hope you guys will enjoy this blog. Have a great day, everyone!!

My father has been working far away from us (I've already mentioned this in my first blog). He was working in Poland as a welder. He has been away from us for 3 years. We miss him so much, especially Mr. I miss my dad so much. I was a daddy's girl ever since. That's why I'm so excited that he will come back home😩💓

He will come back here for my graduation and also for my debut. He will stay here for 3 months because he still needs to work to provide for us. On May 21, we can finally reunite again with my father. I am so excited for that day to come!! We rented a van for us to use to go to the airport. My lola, tatay, and auntie from my father side are with us to meet again. My father is also with my mother, my three siblings, and also with my Kuya friends and his girlfriend. We are ready to pick up our father.

When it's time to go to the airport, my kuya wants to go to CCLEX and see the famous plcae there, the 1000 roses, because it's so early to go to the airport, so he decided to take some road trips before we see our father. Cclex is so nice. The view is so nice. We are laughing at my little cousin because she wants to stop the car because she wants to swim in the ocean. Hahahahahahaha. She said that she brought clothes. That's why she can go swim, then proceed from showing her clothes.

We had a long trip, and it was getting boring. I teased my little sister, and making fun of her made my day. Then she asked for a selfie, and I could also sense that she was also getting bored. We took some selfies, making some funny poses, while Kuya and his friends were talking about something and laughing. They also made fun of each other to ease the boredom.
I don't know where this place is. I just appreciate the beauty of each place we pass by. We saw some artistic painting work in the street that was so nice to the eyes.

While daydreaming, I felt the hunger kick in. I told my mother that I was hungry. My little sister also said that she was hungry. My little cousin also said it. We just laughed, and my mom replied,We will eat a lot when we get to the airport.' Then my little cousin n shouted, "Yeyy, Jollibeeeee!" We just laughed hard.😂 When we got to the airport we eat right away ( i dont have pictures of us eating im so hungry to take some pics lol) we ate we have a moment of silence because we're so hungry, we are actually eating at the van and we are so quiet HAHAHAHAHA , then after we ate we clean our mess first before we got out of the van.

We waited in their waiting area because we were so early and my papa was still on the airplane. We just sat down while my lola's and auntie were talking about how excited they were to meet again. While they were talking, my father got bored, so I decided to go to the 2nd floor of the airport to buy some goods because I was also kind of thirsty.

While walking, we saw a lot of stalls selling some chocolates and candies. They also have go-to fast foods like Chow King and Shawarmas. We decided to use their elevator since they have them so that we could go upstairs quickly. When we reach the top, the breeze of the air is so refreshing. We just stroll around to lessen the boredom, then we see another stall of the shawarma. We buy some soft drinks because I'm so thirsty and I'm shocked at how expensive they are.

It was finally time to wait on the exit door because the screen shows that the plane that my father is on has finally landed and they are in the baggage area waiting for their luggage, so yeah, we just waited outside. We finally got to see him. Wearing his well-known jacket and carrying the same old bag, he looked around until his eyes locked with ours. With an explosion of emotions, we ran to him.

We finally saw him, and there were tears, laughter, and an incredible sense of relief and delight. All of the time and space between us disappeared the instant we embraced him. There were giggles, tears, and an overwhelming feeling of delight and relief.

We talked nonstop on the way home. Dad told us about his adventures in Poland, and we told him about all the happenings in the family. There were lots of lively talks and loud laughs in the car. Even though it didn't seem like any time had passed, we understood that these moments had been waiting for a long time.

We can't wait to catch up on time wasted now that Dad is back home. We have scheduled movie evenings, family vacations, and just spending time together. With him back where he belongs, our family's next chapter has begun, and we couldn't be more delighted.
