Getting to my nephew's house took us some time due to the distance that separates us from his house and the difficulty of transportation.
Fortunately, we arrived and the birthday had not started, although practically all the ingredients were there for the start of the party.
As soon as the boy arrived, he ran into my arms and hugs, kisses and the first photos arrived.
The birthday began
After that happy moment, the boy put on his clothes for the occasion and, as soon as he left the room, the photos began for the honoree and his new friends.
As in all parties of this type, the birthday person is subjected to all kinds of positions and in each of them several photos are taken that will remain as tangible proof in the family album, so that some time later those moments can be relived.
He took photos alone, with his friends, with his mother, his uncle, his birthday partner and many more made this first part an unforgettable, happy and very beautiful moment. Despite the absence of his father, it is the first birthday in which the child enjoys this moment without crying and all the planned photos and those that arose spontaneously can be taken.

The boy's mother had several activities planned that consisted of games because this is the fundamental activity of children.
Hidden treasure, participation games, dances, piñata and sharing as the most anticipated moment were some of the most important actions that were carried out.
The child fell asleep
One of the greatest joys was seeing the child's happiness when running, dancing, playing and his incessant activity that made him get tired and fall exhausted into the arms of "Morpheus." His mother put him to bed and, shortly after gaining new energy, he returned to his adventures.

My wife and I had to leave early because we had to go out at night and, at this time of day, transportation is more complicated.
For that reason we were the first to have dinner and I must say that the meal of roast pork, cassava, tomato salad with onion and congrí rice was delicious. After dinner we retired and thanked the child's maternal family for all the attention and quality of the moment we had.
A final comment
It was a very colorful birthday, in which the essential objective was fulfilled, which was to make this day a happy day for my son and nephew and for the entire family.
And, fortunately, we made it because he didn't shed a single tear and behaved like a gentleman. Maybe his dulcinea had something to do with it.

Una introducción necesaria
Este sería un cumpleaños diferente para mi sobrino hijo porque su papá no estaría físicamente, pues, había tomado la decisión de emigrar del país.
Por otra parte, el niño se había mudado de provincia y no estaría en el lugar donde celebró sus dos primeros añitos. Tampoco estarían sus antiguos amiguitos, ni la mayor parte de su familia paterna.
Sin embargo, su mamá y yo teníamos una convicción firme: Teníamos que hacerle una bonita fiesta de cumpleaños, para mitigar, en parte, la necesidad de todos esos afectos familiares y de amistad tan necesarios para el niño.
Pero, el inicio del día nos hacía presagiar que no sería un día muy fácil porque el niño amaneció llorando y diciendo entre sollozos y llanto el nombre de papá.
Llegando al cumpleaños
Llegar a la casa de mi sobrino nos tomó algo de tiempo debido a la distancia que nos separa de su casa y a lo difícil del transporte.
Afortunadamente, llegamos y el cumpleaños no había comenzado, aunque, prácticamente estaban todos los ingredientes para el inicio de la fiesta.
Apenas llegué el niño, corrió hacia mis brazos y llegaron abrazos, besos y las primeras fotos.
Comenzó el cumpleaños
Después de ese momento feliz, el niño se puso su ropa para la ocasión y, apenas bajó del cuarto, comenzaron las fotos para el homenajeado y sus nuevos amiguitos.
Como en todas las fiestas de este tipo, quien cumpleaños es sometido a todo tipo de posiciones y en cada una de ellas se les hacen varias fotos que quedarán como prueba palpable en el álbum familiar, para que tiempo después puedan revivirse esos momentos.
Se hizo fotos solo, con sus amiguitos, con su mamá, su tío, su parejita de cumple y muchas más hicieron de esta primera parte un momento inolvidable, alegre y muy bonito. A pesar de la ausencia de su papá, es el primer cumpleaños en el que el niño disfruta de este momento sin llorar y se les pueden hacer todas las fotos planificadas y las que surgieron de manera espontánea.
Otras actividades
La mamá del niño tenía varias actividades pensadas que, consistían en juegos porque esta es la actividad fundamental de los niños.
Tesoro escondido, juegos de participación, bailes, piñata y el compartir como momento más esperado fueron de las acciones más importantes que se hicieron.
El niño se durmió
Una de las mayores alegrías fue ver la felicidad del niño al correr, bailar, jugar y a su incesante actividad que lo hicieron cansarse y caer rendido en los brazos de “Morfeo”. Su mamá lo acostó y, poco tiempo, después de cargarse de nuevas energías, volvió a sus andanzas.
La cena
Mi esposa y yo debíamos retirarnos temprano porque debíamos salir de noche y, en esta hora del día, el transporte se complica más.
Por esa razón fuimos los primeros en cenar y debo decir que esa comida a base de cerdo asado, yuca, ensalada de tomate con cebolla y arroz congrí estuvo deliciosa. Después de cenar nos retiramos y agradecimos a la familia materna del niño todas las atenciones y la calidad del momento vivido.
Un comentario final
Fue un cumpleaños muy colorido, en el que se cumplió el objetivo esencial que era hacer de este día una jornada feliz para mi sobrino hijo y para toda la familia.
Y, afortunadamente, lo logramos porque no soltó ni una sola lágrima y se comportó como todo un caballero. Quizás su dulcinea tuvo algo que ver.
Lo cierto es que fue un día inolvidable y, no solo para el niño, porque toda su familia disfrutó y mucho.
