¡El 3 de agosto de 2023! Surge un nuevo día de fiesta, para anotar en mi almanaque familiar. Mi nieta @danielamilanesa acaba de obtener el título de bachiller de la República bolivariana de Venezuela, documento con lo cual quedó acreditada para estudiar la carrera universitaria de su preferencia.
Por eso, en mi casa, amanecimos felices. Finalmente, había llegado el gran día, esperado por todos, pues desde el pasado mes de abril, no habían parado las actividades de pre graduación, de manera que con toda seguridad, de ahora en adelante, en mi casa, esta fecha será recordada y motivo de celebración durante todos los años venideros.
De manera que desde muy temprano comenzamos a prepararnos para el gran acontecimiento, toda la familia estaba muy ansiosa con ganas de estar allí, pero solo disponíamos de tres cupos adicionales para asistir al acto, por lo cual solamente asistiríamos mi esposo, mi hija, mi nieta y yo. ¡Guau!, nada menos y nada más que la feliz abuela de la nueva bachiller.
Es asombroso ver cómo nuestros pequeñines, en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, se convierten en adultos. Me parece que hubiera sido ayer el primer día que tuve a Danielita en mis brazos, su primer día de escuela y su primer día en el bachillerato. Por eso no me queda la menor duda de la importancia de vivir a plenitud cada momento de nuestra vida, pues cada minuto que pasa es único e irrepetible.
Por eso, hoy he salido de la cama, en modo graduación, dispuesta a disfrutar al máximo de este inolvidable día. Por consiguiente, lo primero que hice fue sentir un profundo agradecimiento por tener la dicha de vivir la fascinante experiencia, de estar en la graduación de mi nieta, de tener el privilegio de poder asistir al acto y de escuchar a mi hija tan emocionada, decirme mamá, ¡ya sé cómo te sentiste cuando me gradué!
Seguidamente, preparé un desayuno ligero, felicité a mi Dani y le deseé el mayor de los éxitos, al despedirla pues ella debía llegar primero a la gran cita, aún le quedaba pendiente el último ensayo de su acto de graduación.
De manera que una vez cumplido este episodió, terminé de dejar todo listo en la casa y me preparé exclusivamente para el gran día. Con mucho entusiasmo nos dirigimos hacia nuestro destino, el Anfiteatro de El Hatillo.
Allí llegamos super puntuales e inmeditamente mi esposo y yo nos colocamos en la cola para entrar al evento, en ese momento ya había llegado mucha gente. Mi hija entró antes que nosotros, ella como representante, le tocaba un sitial de honor. Así que mi esposo y yo, quedamos sumamente emocionados, a la espera de nuestro turno, rebosantes de felicidad.
It's August 3, 2023! A new holiday dawns, to be noted in my family calendar. My granddaughter @danielamilanesa has just obtained the title of high school graduate from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, a document with which she is accredited to study the university career of her choice.
That's why, at my house, we woke up happy. Finally, the big day had arrived, awaited by all, because since last April, the activities of pre-graduation had not stopped, so with all certainty, from now on, in my house, this date will be remembered and a reason for celebration in the years to come.
So we started preparing for the big event very early, the whole family was very anxious to be there, but we only had three additional seats to attend the event, so only my husband, my daughter, my granddaughter and I would attend. Wow! Nothing less and nothing more than the happy grandmother of the new graduate.
It is amazing to see how our little ones, in the blink of an eye, become adults. It seems to me that it was yesterday the first day I had Danielita in my arms, her first day of school and her first day in high school. That's why I have no doubt about the importance of living each moment of our lives to the fullest, because every minute that passes is unique and unrepeatable.
That's why I got out of bed today, in graduation mode, ready to enjoy this unforgettable day to the fullest. So the first thing I did was feel a deep gratitude for the good fortune of living the fascinating experience, of being at my granddaughter's graduation, of having the privilege of being able to attend the event and of hearing my daughter so excited, telling me mom, I already know how you felt when I graduated!
Then I prepared a light breakfast, congratulated my Dani and wished her the best of success, when I said goodbye to her because she had to arrive first to the great date, she still had the final rehearsal of her graduation act pending.
So once this episode was over, I everything ready at home and I prepared exclusively for the big day. With great enthusiasm we headed to our destination, the El Hatillo Amphitheater.
There we arrived super punctual and immediately my husband and I got in line to enter the event, at that moment many people had already arrived. My daughter entered before us, she as a representative, she had a seat of honor. So my husband and I, we were very excited, waiting for our turn, overflowing with happiness.
A mi hija le tocó estar sentada al lado de Daniela, a la espera del turno para recibir su preciado título de bachiller, fruto de cinco años de estudio y dedicación, donde entre otras cosas vivió la experiencia de prácticamente culminar su bachillerato en medio de una pandemia.
My daughter had to sit next to Daniela, waiting for her turn to receive her precious high school diploma, the result of five years of study and dedication, where among other things she experienced the almost finishing her high school in the middle of a pandemic.
Una vez ubicados dentro del recinto, comenzamos a disfrutar la algarabia de la muchachada, más 120 alumnos se graduaban ese día, la felicidad era inmensa, corrían de un lado a otro, se abrazaban y saltaban. Los directivos del plantel, los profesores, el personal administrativo, el cura, los padres, representantes y familiares estaban deslumbrantes. Realmente, todos estábamos siendo parte importante en un momento estelar, en la historia de estos muchachos. La energía percibida ahí fue poderosa.
Once we were inside the premises, we started enjoying the hubbub of the youngsters, more than 120 students graduated that day, the happiness was immense, they ran from one side to the other, they hugged and jumped. The school's management, teachers, administrative staff, the priest, parents, representatives and relatives were dazzling. Really, we were all being part of an important moment, in the history of these guys. The energy perceived there was powerful.
Al comenzar el acto, a mí se me hizo un nudo en la garganta al escuchar el himno nacional de Venezuela, seguido por del himno del estado Miranda hasta culminar con el himno del municipio Baruta. Por cierto, este último creo que era la primera vez que lo escuchaba. Me pareció un himno lindísimo. Así, después de escuchar las palabras por parte de varias de las personalidades que integraban el presídium, comenzó la imposición de medallas y entrega del título de bachiller.
Los alumnos fueron clasificados por sección y por número de cédulas de identidad, lo que hizo que a mi nieta le tocara graduarse casi de última, así que la emoción estuvo prolongada por largo rato.

At the beginning of the act, I got a lump in my throat when I heard the national anthem of Venezuela, followed by the anthem of the Miranda state and ending with the anthem of the Baruta municipality. By the way, I think this last one was the first time I heard it. It seemed like a very beautiful anthem. So, after listening to the words from several of the personalities who made up the presidium, the medal ceremony and the graduation of the bachelor's degree began.
The students were classified by section and by number of identity cards, which meant that my granddaughter had to graduate almost last, so the emotion was prolonged for a long time.

La felicidad que me embargó es indescriptible, realmente una no tiene idea de lo que es capaz de sentir, hasta que se te presenta la oportunidad de experimentarlo y esto de ver a una hija de tu hija alcanzar un importante logro es algo que no tiene parangón.

Ahora con nuestra nieta ya graduada y con el calor que estaba haciendo, decidimos comprar unos riquisimos helados en la Copa Hatillana, un local super pequeñito que queda al frente de la plaza Bolívar de El Hatillo y que se ha puesto de moda.
Now that our granddaughter is graduated and with the heat that it was making, we decided to buy some delicious ice creams in the Copa Hatillana, a super small place that is in front of the Bolívar square of El Hatillo and that has become fashionable.

Amo y siento un profundo respeto por mi patria Venezuela y para mí, escuchar mi himno es estar en la gloria, creo que todos los venezolanos sentimos lo mismo y es que desde que nacemos somos arrullados con él. ¡AH! y ahí va el heladito cruzando el mar Caribe.
