Unexpected Plan: Memories to Keep

Konnichiwa, hive friends! It’s been a few days since I posted my last blog, and guess what? I’m back again with my new chika. How are you all? Feeling good? That’s great. I’m here again with the new blog. Are you excited? Really? Yeheyyy, Ok, so let’s start?

It was the birthday of my dearest best friend @jeanjean . She invited us—all her friends—to go to their house to eat lunch. As I received her message, I immediately changed my clothes and went to their house afterwards. I arrived at our other best friend's house, which is Marjoven, and I told him to come with me as we went to the house of Jean. He then changed his clothes, and we went together to the birthday girl’s house.

After eating, they decided to go to Little Batanes as a continuation of the of the celebration for the birthday of our dearest best friend. I was hesitant to go with them that time because I’m afraid that my parents won’t allow me, especially since I’m not done with my responsibilities in our house. They assured me that they would be the ones to ask permission from my parents, and I agreed.

Everything is set, so we started walking from our house to the highway. Since the little town of Batanes is a little bit far from our home, we needed to ride a bus, tricycle, motorbike, or any type of vehicle. After a few minutes of waiting, we finally saw a bus, so we immediately did the “paraa” sign, so the bus stopped, and we rode in.

Fast-forward: we arrived in the skina, so we bought some snacks at the little sari-sari store. After buying them, we started walking. It’s a long walk for us since the little batanes are really far, but at that time, I’m hoping that the place is worth our walk.

They are my companion, and the one who was raising her hands in the air doing a peace sign post—that's the birthday girl—was 5 in this picture because our other companion is raiding a motorcycle.

As we arrived in Little Batanes, we saw a bench made of a branch of the tree, so me and Jean decided to take a rest first. While the others were busy with their phones, I spent my time taking a selfie, and of course I joined Jean with my selfie.

Since Jean noticed that I’m taking a selfie, she immediately covered her phone for her face to be hidden on the camera. I love the formation of the clouds; it’s really pretty, plus the ambiance of the place really complements the view.

I’m not really a photogenic type of person, so I do whatever post comes to mind. Anyway, in this picture, the timer was counting, and I was suddenly distracted by a beautiful girl. Even the birthday girl was amazed at her beauty.

We asked her permission to take a selfie with us, and luckily she agreed. I and Jean both think that this pretty girl was half-blooded. We asked his mother if his daughter was half-blooded since her mother was near us, and she said yes.

A few minutes later, we decided to climb the hill and eat some snacks there. The place is really beyond gorgeous—it doesn’t disappoint me. It was a place where you could see how the sun rose while at the same time setting down. I described the place as a prefecture and a romantic place to spend time with your love. Don’t worry, guys, I will tour you next time to this place in order for you to have an idea about the famous “Little Batanes."

We are all busy taking lots of selfies; of course, who wouldn’t be? I really enjoyed the place, especially the wind that blows your hair; it’s really refreshing. Below are some shots of me in little batanes.

They bought a flavored beer; actually, it was my first time drinking it, and yeah, it’s delicious, but I can’t finish one bottle because drinking liquor is not my thing. I was just curious at that time about its taste, so I tried to have a sip on it.

Meet my two best friends, Marjoven and Jean. We've been best friends since grade 4, and even though we don’t go to the same school, that doesn’t affect the friendship that we have built over the past years. Every time we have free time, we always spend our time chitchatting about our experiences at school, especially the course we were taking. Actually, I’m taking education, Jean was taking engineering, and Marjoven was taking accounting. Different courses, but one goal: to be the person that we want to be someday.

While we were busy taking a selfie, our other companion arrived; they are actually my cousin. I didn’t miss the chance, so I asked them to gather around because we would have a cousin photo shoot (chariz). They agreed, and I’m like a kid at that time who was very happy because her mom gave her a lollipop.

After the simple selfies, we sat on the grass, talked, laughed, and teased each other. In addition to this, we explored the place as we jogged and walked and, of course, took some selfies. I really enjoyed each other's company, and most especially, I don’t regret spending my time with them; it's really simple but memorable. Indeed, a memory to keep.
