This morning, when I woke up, the weather was really nice—clear, calm, and pleasant.
I had plans to go out to the fields to check on my fruit trees and olive trees, but in just one hour, while I ate and drank my coffee, the weather changed 100 percent.
From a beautiful, sunny day it turned into cloudy, windy, and rainy weather, so I gave up on today’s plans and went to the store to buy lunch.
After that, my son and I sat down in the café bar that is part of the store and had a coffee.
Of course, not my son—he drinks Nescafé or orange juice, and today he decided on coconut Nescafé.
We spent a lovely hour together as father and son, talking in a relaxed atmosphere with soft music playing in the background.
In the end, the day turned out even better than I had expected, because time spent with a child is priceless. Especially when I see him enjoying himself and smiling—it doesn’t just brighten my day, it fills my heart and makes life more beautiful.
