Buenos Días, el día de hoy estoy iniciando mis pasos en Hive, y quiero hacer una breve presentación para todos ustedes.

Good morning, today I am taking my first steps in Hive, and I would like to give a brief introduction to all of you.

Soy Sebastián Andrés Salas Rodriguez, soy del estado mas alto de Venezuela, del estado Mérida, pero vivo en Ejido, solo tengo 16 años de edad, vivo con mis padres, siendo una de mi mayores bendiciónes de tenerlos a ambos a mi lado, y tambien a mi abuelita Materna, que es otro privilegio, porque de mis abuelos es la única que me queda, gracias a Dios he podido y sigo disfrutando de su compañia, porque sentir el amor y cariño de un abuelo, es maravilloso, espero que la vida me la regale por muchos más, soy el hijo menor, tengo 4 hermanos.

My name is Sebastián Andrés Salas Rodriguez. I am from the highest state in Venezuela, the state of Mérida, but I live in Ejido. I am only 16 years old and I live with my parents, one of my greatest blessings being to have them both by my side, as well as my maternal grandmother, which is another privilege, because she is the only one of my grandparents left. Thank God I have been able to enjoy her company and continue to do so, because feeling the love and affection of a grandparent is wonderful. I hope life will give me many more years with her. I am the youngest child and have four siblings.

Mi madre @exqueila, me cuenta que desde niño me han gustado los animales, sobre todo los perritos, y los gatos, es muy cierto siento que son compañeros más fieles que puedes tener. En mi casa tengo una perrita de raza poodle de nombre Alaska, que tengo en adopción de mis tios y prima @mariangel cuando emigraron del país, recuerdo mucho ese momento, de la tristeza de Alaska cuando ellos se fueron, por eso digo con propiedad que son animales con una inteligencia y una capacidad de entendimiento admirable, paso meses llorando la ausencia y el vacio de ellos, recorria la casa, buscandolos para ver si en algun rinconcito los iba a encontrar, incluso se acostaba sobre el porton de donde guardaba el carro mi tío, y con su mirada perdida esperaba allí que algun día fueran a llegar, esto es una historía que ha marcado mi vida, los perros son animales con una fidelidad y un amor increible.

My mother @exqueila tells me that ever since I was a child, I have loved animals, especially dogs and cats. It's very true; I feel that they are the most loyal companions you can have. At home, I have a poodle named Alaska, whom I adopted from my aunt, uncle, and cousin @mariangel when they emigrated from the country. I remember that moment very well, how sad Alaska was when they left. That's why I can say with certainty that these animals have admirable intelligence and understanding. She spent months mourning their absence and the emptiness they left behind. She would wander around the house, looking for them to see if she could find them in some little corner. She would even lie down on the gate where my uncle kept his car, and with her lost gaze, she would wait there for them to come back someday. This is a story that has marked my life. Dogs are animals with incredible loyalty and love.

Cuando tenía 9 años de edad, cuando la pandemia del covid19, mi prima @mariangel que reside en Chile, fue la promotora de que me iniciara en las prácticas de baloncesto, jamas me imagine que este deporte me fuera a gustar, es mas cada día que asisto a las prácticas, siento felicidad, porque lo disfruto, puedo pasar horas y horas que pierdo hasta la noción del tiempo, es una disciplina que me ha enseñado muchisimo. Estoy en uno de los retos tal vez más importante, como es el de ser un gran jugador de Baloncesto, se que mi estatura juega un poco en contra, pero pienso que ante nada hay imposible solo las ganas de crecer y disfrutar de este bello proceso de mi vida.

When I was 9 years old, during the COVID-19 pandemic, my cousin @mariangel, who lives in Chile, encouraged me to start playing basketball. I never imagined that I would enjoy this sport, but every day I go to practice, I feel happy because I enjoy it. I can spend hours and hours playing and lose track of time. It's a discipline that has taught me a lot. I am facing one of the most important challenges of my life: becoming a great basketball player. I know that my height works against me a little, but I believe that nothing is impossible if you have the desire to grow and enjoy this beautiful process in my life.

En mis ratos libres, que no son muchos porque siempre me enfoco en la práctica del baloncesto, me gusta ver peliculas en Netflix, jugar videos juegos en mi televisor o en mi celular, algo que tambien me gusta y no lo realizo muy seguido es leer, en la biblioteca de mi casa hay unas enciclopedias, que son muy bonitas y vistosas por la variedad de fotos, alli me encanta leer sobre los dinosaurios, los animales, las plantas, son temas interesantes.

In my free time, which isn't much because I always focus on practicing basketball, I like to watch movies on Netflix, play video games on my TV or on my cell phone. Something else I like to do, but don't do very often, is read. In my home library, there are some encyclopedias that are very beautiful and colorful because of the variety of photos. I love reading about dinosaurs, animals, and plants—they are interesting topics.

Actualmente me encuentro cursando el quinto año de bachillerato en un Colegio cerca de donde vivo, desde niño me ha apasionado los números y las matematicas, estoy en el ultimo año, a un paso de la universidad, siendo el momento decisivo de ir pensando que estudiar, porque quiero verme en un futuro, no muy lejano, con una carrera o profesión que llene mis expectativas, que me haga feliz a mi y a mi familia, así que espero tomar la decisión mas acertada. Hoy en día, me llama la atención la Ingenieria de Sistemas, porque me parece que es una carrera muy ligada a la tecnología, a las computadoras, a la inteligencia artificial, y principalmente se muestra como una carrera de grandes oportunidades que me garantizaría una buena elección.

I am currently in my fifth year of high school at a school near where I live. Since I was a child, I have been passionate about numbers and mathematics. I am in my last year, one step away from university, and it is a decisive moment to start thinking about what to study, because I want to see myself in the not-too-distant future with a career or profession that fulfills my expectations and makes me and my family happy, so I hope to make the right decision. Today, systems engineering appeals to me because it seems to me to be a career closely linked to technology, computers, artificial intelligence, and, above all, it appears to be a career with great opportunities that would guarantee me a good choice.

Como conocí a la plataforma de Hive, la misma llego a mís oidos a través de mi prima @mariangel, y de mis hermosos padres @exqueila y @josegregori, que tienen varios añitos de estar incursionando en este mundo, ellos son los que me han dado el empujoncito para ingresar y aventurarme en este mundo con todos ustedes.

How I discovered the Hive platform: I first heard about it from my cousin @mariangel and my wonderful parents @exqueila and @josegregori, who have been involved in this world for several years now. They are the ones who gave me the push I needed to join and venture into this world with all of you.

He descubierto la diversidad de comunidades que tiene la plataforma de Hive, lo bonito es que no vas a estar limitado a un solo tema o comunidad, porque puedes decidir la que más te guste, y aun es más interesante, es que puedes ser premiado por crear, por ser tú mismo, con contenidos únicos, porque la originalidad es lo que te va a permitir llegar a lo mas alto de está plataforma.

I have discovered the diversity of communities on the Hive platform. The great thing is that you are not limited to a single topic or community, because you can choose the one you like best. and even more interesting is that you can be rewarded for creating, for being yourself, with unique content, because originality is what will allow you to reach the top of this platform.
