A Simple Birthday Celebration with My Three Awesome Mothers: A Birthday Gift for Myself and the Newborn Kittens

Last Tuesday was my birthday. I woke up feeling good and excited for "my day" and the new year added to my life. I also feel a little worried because I'm not getting younger anymore. Ahoyyy, gosh, but I know 19 years old is not old yet, I'm still young, yes! Ehermmmm! Please believe me, I'm only 19 years old ಡ ͜ ʖ ಡ.

I woke up being greeted by our Wiswis, climbing up in the side of my bed. She's like this when she wants food. She's pregnant again, which is why she often feels hungry. But her being like this, I feel like she is wishing me a happy birthday too.

Anyway, because it is my day and it is a special day for me, I decided to buy my favorite spaghetti for our breakfast. Mama suggested that she just cook some of it, but I told her that no one will eat it but just me and her, my oldies can't eat much of it, so I told her that I will just buy two servings of it outside. At least, just enough spaghetti for the four of us. So that's it. I just bought cheese just for it because I want my spaghetti cheesier.

By the way, I was surprised when I bought the spaghetti because, from $0.35 per serving, it is now $0.53. Just wow, they added $0.18 to it that fast. But well, it can't be helped, especially since the prices of the ingredients are also high, so they have no choice but to add a few pesos to its price. And what's important is that I enjoy my spaghetti so much, especially with this much cheese on top. Yayyy! └|∵|┐♪

And for our lunch, I bought chicken and some taro (gabi) as a replacement for the super expensive potato. At least with this, we can eat more taro than rice. It's also a good replacement for rice, so we can only consume a little bit of it. I also bought banana ketchup. I can't use soy sauce because Mom's knee is in pain again. So I need to use limited ingredients here.

Here's the result. I was so excited about eating it that I forgot to take a picture of it. I only remember after we finish our lunch, lol. Is it a sign of aging now? I'm being forgetful, lol. My oldies love them too, it's a good decision that I used taro and not a potato, hehe. We had a happy stomach that day.

I plan to have the main events in the afternoon, those main events were just "us" having a small feast with our favorite snacks. Just like usual, it's been ages since we last had pizza, so that's what I planned to buy. It's the oldies request too, we all have the same love for pizza. How about you and your family?

Exactly at 3:30 p.m., after taking a bath, we decided to go out and buy the foods we needed. I was accompanied by my mama. And of course, I wore my favorite anime t-shirt from Oxgn that day. I am wearing all black because black is love! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

Upon arriving at the pizza stall (my favorite food stall), we just ordered three boxes of pizza, one Hawaiian Delight, one Ham and Cheese, and the Overloaded Hawaiian Pizza. Mama requested a whole box of pizza for me. Well, I just bought a whole box for her, and I just told her to give some slices to the old couple living besides her.

But I know the main reason why she wants a whole box of it, lol, and that's because of her beloved doggo. You know, my Mama, for her, it doesn't matter if she doesn't have anything to eat, as long as her pet will never get hungry. Talk about a loving fur mom! Mama the best! By the way, I requested our pizza to be a little toasty.

While waiting for it, we decided to go inside COOP Supermart because we wanted to check out some ice cream there. Actually, Mama is contemplating whether to have ice cream too, just like we want. She also said that pizza doesn't go well with ice cream, it's not a good pair, she said. She's having a hard time choosing between soft drinks and ice cream, lol. She really has the biggest and most serious problem in there, lol.

After getting and paying for what we needed in the supermarket, we decided to go home. I am super excited, my mouth is itching to eat my pizza now. Good thing our home is not that far from where we bought them, lol.

Here are my three boxes of pizza and ice cream. In the end, she decided to just have a soda, that's why we only have three ice creams here.

And tadaaaaaan! And here's a rare photo of myself and my three mothers, ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ. I am the happiest! My siblings are not with us right now because they are living in Batangas, but having my three mothers with me is just awesome! By the way, the taller one is my mama, my biological mother. While the two on left side is my Mommy F and Mommy D, they are partners and I'm living with them until now. While Mama, she's living with her Pets just the next house beside our house.

And now, let me just share this things I bought for myself, a birthday gift. No one gifted me on my birthday, but I already see that coming, which is why I just do it myself. Thanks to the 28 HBD I withdrew here on Hive, I was able to get this and have a simple feast and celebration with my family.

So here it is, mostly my favorite food and two brand new shirts from Blue Corner, my favorite brand of plain shirts. It's really just a plain shirt with no design at all. I got the oatmeal and mint green colors. I ordered this one online from Shoppee. I bought the junk foods at the supermarket for a very affordable price.

And now for the new-born kitties, they were born the same day as my birthday, which is really awesome. The mother is Ikay, she gave birth to four beautiful kittens. I love their colors, she has two whites, one black and white, and then one orange and white. I'm not sure yet about the gender, but hurray to these newborn babies! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

As I've mentioned before, our birthdays only happen once, so having a small celebration is not that bad. It doesn't matter whether the food on your table was the simplest food, as long as you get to enjoy it while celebrating the new year added to your life. Hurray for our birthdays!
