CHILDHOOD FRIENDS

An adage says show me your friend and I will tell you who you are. Friends are like clothes they cover, protect, and support each other when need be. Having a good friend helps a lot in every area of life, most friends are like family or close relatives most especially childhood friends they stand by us anytime because it is hard to deny such friendship. I can remember vividly my childhood friends to date we are still close, most strange bodies thought our relatives were by consanguinity. During our childhood days, the types of play and interactions we had are still fresh in our memories

A childhood friend is like a brother or any other relative we could refer to. At an early age in life we find someone who looks and behaves like us, someone who probably might have the same statures, complexions, and height as us, someone you both started life together it seems you are both conceived, formed at the same time in different womb, someone that you both exist together at the same time and the same geography area or compound this type of friendship is like twin brothers fix together by God assign by different parents. I could evoke the type of friendship I had with my childhood friends many years back

If not for the maturity, mode, and stages of life we encountered and embedded in us by the superior God I wouldn't have stayed away from my childhood friends. I love to stay close to them forever. God is marvelous. The children of then are now Men today. The type of plays we had then are now different from this moment, it has metamorphosized into the mature level and we are not more in the same location everyone has chased a better life in different locations

The dispersion started when we were about to finish secondary school. Our friendship started in our home where our parents related and interacted together without dissension or face-offs, we lived like one big family without enmity or loathes, we had childish play together, and we both started elementary school together. A lot of things we did together

A lot of things we did together then even though we couldn't repeat the same now due to maturity and stages of life we have similar activities that could be equivalent to childhood activities. Now we have a carnival, age group, or peer group. Etc

Carnival is an interesting and compelling event organized to reunite and commemorate the past we had together, it is held on the 5th of October every year. During this period all our childhood friends convoke at home irrespective of their places people from different areas are invited to the occasion. this event was organized to reunite and commemorate the past

•   AGE OR PEER GROUP
  

This group is also organized to strengthen the union and to remind us of the past. Assistance is also made to the less privileged among us

These activities and others were made to equate the childhood. We have fun together, we have ourselves united and remembered. Friends are like family.
