Happy Saturday to all of you, dear Hive family and friends!
We hadn't planned anything special for my dad's birthday, we had just organized a delicious and simple lunch at home, but at the last minute my uncles got together with my mom to end the day with a small party or gathering for him, which turned our home into a more cheerful atmosphere with some balloons and decorations.
One of my dad's sisters, who is a pastry chef, was in charge of his birthday cake, and the rest of his siblings brought generous amounts of appetizers, including pastries and tequeños, different chicken, corn, tartar, and antipasto sauces to accompany crackers, as well as some sweets. The house was full of our relatives, and all the food they brought was delicious. We ate until we couldn't eat anymore that day.
You can imagine how much my dad enjoyed his birthday night, listening to his retro music from the 80s and 90s. All his favorite songs played, and he danced nonstop. I always wonder, why don't I like to dance? If my parents like to bust out the forbidden moves from their era so much, at least my girls have that talent like their grandparents.
We sang "Happy Birthday" and my dad blew out his 56th candle surrounded by his loved ones. What a joy for me to be able to accompany him on this special day, to see him so happy, full of life and in good health. I hope to be there for his future birthdays and may God accompany him in each of his steps as he walks.

¡Feliz sábado tengan todos querida familia y amigos de Hive!
No teníamos planificado nada especial para él cumpleaños de mi papá, solo habíamos organizado un delicioso y sencillo almuerzo en casa, pero de último momento mis tíos se organizaron junto con mi mamá para terminar este día con una pequeña fiesta o reunión para él, lo cuál volvió convirtió nuestro hogar en un ambiente más alegre con algunos globos y decoración.
Una hermana de mi papá que es repostera, fue la encargada de su pastel de cumpleaños y el resto de sus hermanos trajeron cantidades generosas de pasapalos, entre ellos pastelitos y tequeños, distintas salsas de pollo, maíz, tártara y antipasto para acompañar con galletas saladas, además de algunas golosinas, la casa estaba llena de nuestros familiares y toda la comida que llevaron estaba riquísima, comimos hasta más no poder ese día.
Se pueden imaginar lo mucho que mi papá se disfruto su noche de cumpleaños, escuchando su música retro de los 80 y 90, sonaron todas sus canciones favoritas, bailo mucho y sin parar, siempre me pregunto, ¿Por que no me gusta bailar? Si a mis padres les gusta tanto sacar los pasos prohibidos de sus épocas, por lo menos mis niñas si tienen ese talento como sus abuelos.
Cantamos el cumpleaños y mi papá apago su vela #56 rodeado de sus seres queridos, que dicha para mi poder acompañarlo en este día especial, verlo tan alegre, lleno de vida y de mucha salud, deseo poder estar en los cumpleaños que están por venir y que Dios le acompañe en cada uno de sus pasos al andar.
