We've lost several family members lately, mostly close to my mother-in-law, which has made her so sad that she didn't want any celebrations for her birthday, which was a few days ago.

I tried to plan a small, intimate gathering with one of my brothers-in-law, but he refused. He had argued with my mother-in-law because she didn't want anything to do with it, but my husband wasn't satisfied.

Not only did he ask me to buy a phone as a gift for my mother-in-law, but we also bought her a pineapple cake, which she loves, and some beers that always make her happy.

My husband brought his trumpet for the music, we all sat in front of her house, her grandchildren arrived, all the adults with their beers 🍻, except for me because I hardly ever drink, plus I was in treatment for my tooth.

We stayed until 10 pm. Before that, we had brought her breakfast and given her her gift 🎁. In the evening, we returned to spend some time with my mother-in-law.

She was happy despite everything, she enjoyed her day with her family. Her first great-granddaughter gave her a bouquet of preserved flowers and other gifts. She was happy to see everyone.

Finally, I took on the role of photographer for the gathering, hehehe, I like it, even though I don't appear in any of the photos 😏. The important thing is that my mother-in-law had a lovely evening with her closest nephews, children, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, and daughters-in-law. We were all there for her; she's a woman with many wonderful qualities, she deserves that and more, but we also had to respect her feelings.

We had a good time, catching up with those of us who don't see each other very often. My sister always goes with my nephew. Everything was relaxed. The highlight of the evening was my husband's granddaughter and her attempts at communication, hehehe. It seemed like she was arguing. My mother-in-law laughed a lot at her antics; she looked happy. Everything was impromptu, but we couldn't let this birthday pass without having a small family gathering.

Por estos días hemos perdido varios familiares, más que todo cercanos a mi suegra, lo que la ha hecho sentir triste, al punto de no querer celebraciones por su cumpleaños que fue hace unos días.

Estuve tratando de planificar una reunion íntima, sencilla con uno de mis cuñados, sin embargo no quiso, había discutido con mi suegra porque ella no quería nada, pero mi esposo no se conformo con eso.

No solo me pidió que fuera a comprar el teléfono como regalo para mi suegra, sino que le compramos un pastel de piña que lo ama, además unas cervezas que la ponen feliz. A ella no le quedó de otra que aceptar estos sencillos detalles y celebrar su día en compañía de sus familiares más cercanos.

Mi esposo llevo su corneta para la música, nos sentamos todos en el frente de su casa, fueron llegando sus nietos, todos los adultos con sus cervezas 🍻, menos yo porque casi no tomo, además estaba en tratamiento por lo de mi muela.

Estuvimos hasta las 10 de la noche, antes le habíamos llevado desayuno, le dimos su regalo 🎁, en la noche regresamos para compartir un rato con mi suegra.

Ella estaba contenta a pesar de todo, disfruto su día, con la familia, su primera bisnieta le regaló un ramo de flores eternas, y otros detalles, ella estaba contenta de verlos a todos.

Finalmente, asumí el papel de fotógrafa de la reunión, Jejeje, me gusta, aunque no aparezco en ninguna foto 😏, lo importante es que mi suegra pasará una bonita noche, con sus sobrinos más allegados, hijos, nietos, bisnieta, yernas, todos estábamos allí por ella, es una mujer con muchas cualidades, se merece eso y más, pero también había que respetar su sentimiento.

La pasamos bien, poniendonos al día los que no nos vemos tan frecuentemente, mi hermana siempre va con mi sobrino, todo estuvo tranquilo, el centro de la noche fue la nieta de mi esposo con su intento por comunicarse bien, Jejeje, parecía que estuviese peleando, mi suegra se reía mucho de sus cosas, se le veía feliz, todo fue improvisado, pero no podíamos dejar pasar éste cumpleaños sin tener un pequeño encuentro familiar.
