My nephew Kyle went for Trick or Treat! It's great and cool to see so many places getting into the Halloween spirit by offering special treats for kids. Itβs such a fun and exciting experience for them, with all the cool costumes and the thrill of collecting candies.
I've never been trick-or-treating myself, but I love seeing how happy it makes kids today. Its nice to watch them dress up in their favorite costumes, their faces lighting up with excitement as they receive candies.
Today, my sisterβs company organized a Halloween trick-or-treat event, and she decided to take our 5-year-old nephew along for the fun. To make it happen, my brother had to make the trip to Guimaras to pick him up, since heβs living there with our mother. At first, our mother didnβt want him to go because he had just gotten better from a cough, and he was still coughing a little. She was worried that if he ate too many sweets, he might get sick again. But at the end she agreed.
(Heβs in a pumpboat here, when I said he's excited but his face says otherwise lol!)
We were trying to decide last night which costume our nephew should wearβeither the Black Panther or the prince costume. Both look amazing on him! He has that kind of charm where anything he wears suits him perfectly, even if we dressed him in a sack π.
In the end, we decided to let him wear the prince costume. It was so nice to see all the kids having fun as they collected their candy. The company even brought in a Mickey Mouse mascot to add entertainment. Seeing my nephew enjoy himself makes us happy as well. Seeing him play and laugh with the other kids and make new friends. Moments like these remind us of the simple joys of being a kid and the magic of Halloween! π
He also took pictures in front of a Maleficent backdrop that looked great! There was a nice design with Elsa, plus setups for Mickey Mouse and Beauty and the Beast. Kyle was so happy, posing with all the different characters and backgrounds. It was wonderful to see him having such a good time.
By the end of the day, he was so tired that he could barely walk, and my sister's colleague carried him on her back π Everyone was so fond of Kyle because he is such a charming kid. They teased him about taking his candies, but Kyle was brave; he would just shrug it off and not let it bother him. It was funny to see how he would just make face. π
He brought all his candies home to share with his cousin. Even though he was tired and sleepy, he didnβt want to go straight home to Guimaras. He wanted to stop here first to share his treats with his cousin Axel. He was so proud and showed us how many candies he collected with a big smile!

Its great to see kids experience something like trick or treat. They really like getting sweet treats. I went through all stages of trick or treat: kid, parent, and now an observer of all who shouldn't eat sweets, haha.
