Dance Recital of my Niece and Nephews

for the past few months, my sister enrolled her children in a summer dance workshop. my niece was enrolled in ballet class while my nephews were enrolled in hip hop dance class. unfortunately, during the day of the recital my sister could not watch the Dance Recital of her children due to her seminar so she asked us to watch the Dance Recital of her children. I am really proud of my niece and nephews because they are willing to learn and did not get embarrassed. if it were me, I would get cold feet. Watching the recital makes me feel nostalgic of my childhood days. parents were so happy watching their kids dance. I found it funny that everyone was just taking video of their own children. I mean the kids were dancing as a group but each parents took a videos focusing just their kids. it is understandable, the parents is just proud of their kids.

The event was about to start and the kids were still playing and having fun. I was really amazed by the kids. everyone of them doesn't seem to have a stage fright. If it was me and my cousin, we would be hiding already at the back stage.

Aside from the kids, there are also grown ups dancing in the recital. maybe the dance class is open to all ages. they were the first to perform. maybe to help the kids loosen up. but I don't think the kids need it because everyone seemed excited to dance.

This is the ballet class where my niece had joined. I really thought that they will perform by group or something that consist of 5 to 10 person per group. I did not expect that they will be performing as a whole group. they were so many of them they almost occupied the whole stage, but it is still fun watching them especially the little ones they looked so cute and adorable.

and this is the hip-hop class where my nephews joined. their numbers are very opposite to the ballet class. I think its because there were very few boys that joined the dance class.

overall the recital was fun. we were able to meet some old acquaintances and some friends. the kids had so much fun.
