Meet the Alinsonorin's Family: A Journey Through Our Family Story

FAMILY

Family is where people who love each other belong. It's made up of parents, brothers, sisters, and sometimes other relatives or close friends. Everyone takes care of each other and helps out when someone needs it. Families share happy times, like birthdays and holidays, and they also stick together during rough times, like when someone is sick,sad or have a problem.

MY FAMILY 👨‍👨‍👧‍👧

Loving my family is the best feeling ever. They're always there for me, supporting me no matter what. They work hard every day just so I can go to school and learn. They make sure I have everything I need to succeed. My family means everything to me, and I'm grateful for all they do.

INTRODUCING MY FAMILY

MY MOTHER

This is my mom. She's pretty, just like me. I'm a boy, so I think I'm handsome too HHAHAHAHAHAHA🤣. My mom is really careful. She's like my second girlfriend. She always wants updates if I hang out with my friends or classmates. She's also a bit negative. For example, if I go to the pool or ocean with my friends, she'll say lots of people drown there🤦. But it's okay, that's how she shows she cares and loves me.

My mom works really hard. She helps my dad sell vegetables at the market. She never takes a day off because she thinks it's a waste of money. She's really great with food because she always makes sure I get what I want to eat. My mother had a tough life growing up in the mountains, where they mostly ate bulad(dried fish) or ginamos mixed with banana gardaba. Sometimes, if there wasn't any food, they couldn't eat at all. She doesn't want us to go through what she did when she was young.

UNFORGETTABLE ACCIDENT

Our life was good, but then something bad happened. My mom had a car crash in Naalad. She was on her way back from buying BBQ supplies in Naga, like longanisa, churiso, tina e, and dugodugo. She was riding a tricycle when a dump truck hit it from behind. My mom was sitting in the back of the tricycle. Her left forearm got hit by the truck's wheels, and her head hit the metal. It was a really bad accident. When I saw my mom in the hospital at South General Hospital, it was really....hard to believe. I saw my mom without her left arm😭. Her forearm has a bad problem that needs to cut to stop it from getting worse and causing infection. My grandparents, cousins, and my sister were all crying. I cried a lot too and even fainted at the hospital. Because of that, my dad stopped working abroad. Past is past and it is what it is.

MY FATHER

My dad works really hard to make sure our family has everything we need. He's like a strong rock that keeps us all together, especially when things are tough. When he's abroad, he works really hard to build a big house. His job is supervisor in power plant. He travels to places like Dubai, Algeria, and Qatar for work.

Besides his job, he's also into martial arts😱. He said he's black belter, I didn't know what black belter is. My dad learned martial arts because it can be dangerous in other countries, especially in Arab countries where men with short hair might face trouble. When my dad is in another country, he and my mom would talk on video calls. But things have really changed. Remember when my mom had an accident and our house got wrecked by a landslide? Its on my previous blog. It's like all the work we did just vanished when the disaster happened. Thats life is, something happens unexpectedly.

Business

After all the troubles, when my dad doesn't want to travel abroad anymore, they sell vegetables at the Bagsakan market in Naga. Selling veggies is our only way of making money. It's not a huge profit - sometimes we have lots of customers, sometimes very few, and sometimes they end up losing money because we have to throw away unsold vegetables. Making money through selling is tough, I just wish nothing bad happened before.

MY SISTER

My sister is working hard to succeed, even with a boyfriend. She's studying hard to reach her goals and recently graduated with a degree in HRM, which offers great opportunities for the future. She also takes care of many household chores like laundry, dishes, and cleaning. Recently, and now that she's moved to a boarding house in Lapu-Lapu City for work, all her responsibilities have fallen on me. It's tough without her, and I'm struggling to manage everything, especially with school activities sometimes taking up my time.

I LOVE MY FAMILY SO MUCH!!

All the fun times with my family, like playing games together, sharing meals, or just hanging out with beautiful place and enjoy. Those moments are really special because they're made with the people who care about me the most. Even when I did bad things(pasaway) or arguments with my family, they're still there for me. They forgive me, help me learn from my mistakes, and support me no matter what. I'll never forget how awesome my families are. They're like our own personal cheerleaders, guiding us through life and making every day a little bit brighter. I love my family so much!🤍
