Había llegado el cumpleaños de una amiga y, desde un tiempo para acá, logramos crear un buen grupo que ha servido de apoyo para no volverse locos de tantas cosas que ya tocan vivir en la vida. Yo tenía dos semanas de estar acostado en cama y ese día me sentía un poco mejor, pero luego esa salida me costó más de lo que esperaba, pero la pasé tan bien, que valió el esfuerzo. Igual solo iba a estar sentado, pero para mí, luego de estar encerrado y sin moverme tanto tiempo, que el sentarme a conversar era la mejor actividad que podía hacer 😅.
A friend's birthday had arrived and, for some time now, we have been able to create a good group that has served as a support so as not to go crazy with so many things that we have to live through in life. I had been lying in bed for two weeks and that day I felt a little better, but then that outing cost me more than I expected, but I had such a good time that it was worth the effort. I was still just going to sit, but for me, after being locked up and not moving for so long, sitting and talking was the best activity I could do 😅.
Lo bueno es que el cumpleaños de mi amiga cayó domingo y todos teníamos la tarde libre para poder ir a compartir con ella. Mi amiga había decidido que todos deberíamos ir a su cumpleaños con una franela blanca o camisa, o por lo menos de un color claro. En el cumpleaños pasado escogieron color negro y dentro de poco cumple otra amiga del grupo y no sé con qué color van a salir. Aunque algo me dice que el color negro va a volver.
The good thing is that my friend's birthday was on Sunday and we all had the afternoon off so we could go and share it with her. My friend had decided that we should all go to her birthday in a white flannel or shirt, or at least a light color. Last birthday they chose black and soon another friend in the group will have her birthday and I don't know what color they will go with. Although something tells me that black is coming back.
De comida se prepararon unos pinchos, que se acompañaron con bollitos de harina de maíz y una ensalada de repollo con zanahoria. Mientras se iban cocinando los pinchos, el momento se presta para conversar y ponernos al día, aunque también aprovechamos para hacer el trend de los lentes y aprovechar para reírnos con las poses que hacían cada uno. Les cuento que ahora eso no puede faltar en una reunión, sí o si hay que hacer un video y que de alguna forma los recuerdos no solo perduren en fotos.
For food, some skewers were prepared, which were accompanied by cornmeal rolls and a cabbage salad with carrots. While the skewers were cooking, the moment lent itself to chat and catch up, although we also took the opportunity to do the trend of the glasses and laugh with the poses that everyone was doing. I tell you that now that can not be missing in a meeting, yes or if you have to make a video and that somehow the memories not only last in photos.

Los cumpleaños son un momento perfecto para crear recuerdos y reforzar los lazos de amistad. Yo siempre busco estar en los cumpleaños de las personas que aprecio, así sea solo obsequiar un pastel. Son momentos que no debemos dejar pasar, las personas siempre esperan algo especial ese día y cuándo no lo esperan, por lo menos en mi experiencia, es porque se han cansado de esperar y es triste cuando eso sucede. Por eso siempre busco dar algo en un día importante en las personas que son especiales de algún modo para mí.
Birthdays are a perfect time to create memories and strengthen the bonds of friendship. I always try to be at the birthdays of the people I appreciate, even if it's just giving a cake as a gift. They are moments that we should not let pass, people always expect something special that day and when they do not expect it, at least in my experience, it is because they are tired of waiting and it is sad when that happens. That's why I always try to give something on an important day to people who are special to me in some way.
Yo fui el último en llegar a la celebración, pero era porque estaba encargado de hacer los pasteles y quería que fuera una sorpresa por completo y que todos los involucrados ya estuvieran ahí presentes. Ya saben lo que dicen: lo bueno se hace esperar, pero no era yo, eran los pasteles, jajaja. Si tienes alguna persona que de alguna manera ha formado algo especial en tu vida, no dejes pasar esas oportunidades de celebración y crea momento y refuerza esos lazos. De verdad es algo que también te hace crecer como persona o, por lo menos, ha sido mi experiencia.
I was the last to arrive at the celebration, but it was because I was in charge of making the cakes and I wanted it to be a complete surprise and that everyone involved was already there. You know what they say: good things come to those who wait, but it wasn't me, it was the cakes, hahaha. If you have someone who has somehow formed something special in your life, don't pass up those opportunities to celebrate and create momentum and strengthen those bonds. It really is something that also makes you grow as a person, or at least it has been my experience.
