She is the orchestrator of reality - that which was never seen becomes tangible by her. A strong force of perseverance and strength that words cannot describe. She is regarded as a weak vessel but fights battles way tougher for the strong to fight and wins effortlessly without ebbing. She is a MOTHER!
A mother is such a beautiful entity that deserves the most celebrations because of her uniqueness. No doubt, they're humans and must have features that differ but for the fact that they all belong to the same category, " MOTHER", there are attributes that are peculiar to them. These attributes are embodied in the phrase, "the typical MOTHER".
There's no talking about a mother without including her number one attribute of love. I've closely studied a mother's love and before I could come at anything, I had to put myself in their shoes. I fixed myself in a picture where I see myself producing another life and that life is solely in my hands - The love is deeper in this imagination as the "life" in my hands is my own life because it came from me - it's my blood, my identity therefore it is my life. This love grows deeper because it is more like loving myself and doing everything to see myself happy. A mother looks at her child and makes her child's happiness, hers, and their pain become her pain as well. Her children are her and vice versa, so hurting her child is like hurting her. Her unwavering love for her children influences everything she does. Love makes her think differently and see things differently - She could want something but remembering she's a mother, she makes plans to include her children to be as partakers. Likewise, if anything affects her relationship with her children, stands in the gap between them, considering her love for them, the typical mother she sacrifices whatsoever and makes sure her family comes first. A mother is love!
Additionally, in this regard, a mother's love also makes her jealous over what she has. The very moment she transforms from a woman to a mother, she's never the same. She becomes jealous of her family, spouse and all that concerns these. She doesn't want to lose these to anything and she develops protective mechanisms to secure all in her possession. Just like a mother hen would ascend on you if you tamper with its chick, likewise a typical mother will do if anything or anyone tampers with what's hers. This attribute makes her defensive all-round to the extent of fighting for her rights even going the extra mile to make sure this happens.
A mother is strength personified. It takes capacified efforts to walk on a slim thread of life and death and still come out alive with your baby, hale, and hearty. Because many women have come out alive with their babies doesn't make the struggle an easy one, as there are sadly the ones that didn't make it to the end. It is not easy, it never has been and will never be easy. It only takes an undignified strength to scale through and all accolades to the mothers who have possessed this staunch strength. This strength has affected so many ramifications of their lives. That they had strength to wrestle life and death and come out victorious, gives them the morale of boundless possibilities. It's for this reason that we have women and mothers shattering glass ceilings in businesses, entertainment and their respective careers - evident to the fact that they possess staunch strength though mothers, believing that if they could win before, then they can always win again. A mother is strength!
While you were in your mother's womb, there was an umbilical cord that connected you to your mom and vice versa. Though that was cut after birth, the mother-child connection still exists as long as they're both alive. A mother is blessed with instincts that help her detect what is right for her child and what isn't - as depicted in movies, a mother could even sense when something's wrong with her child. This connection sometimes is misinterpreted by children.
There were times that your mom said avoid this person and then you felt it's her overreacting; giving it a deeper thought, it's just a sign that your mom feels what only she can feel because she is connected to you and anything that harms you, harms her. Giving a listening ear will be the best because this is one gift mothers have. Sometimes it could look like they're paranoid but don't forget that you are her life and whatever she's doing is for her life which in turn is beneficial to you. There's nobody on earth who can be likened to a mother!
On this note, allow me to say a very huge Happy Mother's Day to all the exceptional mothers out there who have contributed their sweat and blood to build the world by building their respective family units. Here's to all the mothers whose love cannot be phantom and to all the mothers who have contributed to society by raising their children with values and esteem. Shout out to all the mothers worldwide 🎉
