Tuburan National High School Acquaintance Party 2024 - Carnival Of Colors

One of the event everyone looks forward during the opening of classes is the annual Acquaintance Party. The party is designed for everyone to have the chance to get to know each other. Learners get to know all the other learners, teachers get to know all the other teachers and including all the other learners. It is such an amazing opportunity to get everyone involved in the celebration.

Everyone has a designated color representing each department. Blue for grades 8 and 10, red for grades 7 and 12, yellow for grades 9 and 11. It is designed to avoid confusion what year level each participant is in.

Once you enter our school, everyone is welcomed by the Supreme Student Government where they will be guiding everyone which way to pass through in correspondence to their respective color coding and year level.

Even though you are still entering the institution, you will already feel the Carnival of Colors.

The acquaintance party is expected to be such a fun-filled experience because each year-level prepared some carnival-themed booths that everyone can enjoy and participate into.

Here are some of the booths available during our Carnival-themed acquaintance party at school.

CARNIVAL FACE ARTISTRY

The booth offers face paints for interested students who want to have their faces artistically painted. It was offered for a student-friendly price.

CARNIVAL COURT

Baskteball enthusiasts could also play their favorite basketball game here for an affordable prize. It was so much fun seeing all the learners from different grade levels get together and enjoy the game.

SNACK HOUSE

Just like any other carnival, there is a booth that sells our favorite snacks like pop corn, fries, tempura and some juices. It was the perfect booth to run into after being hungry from all the carnival games everyone participated.

COTTON CANDY STATION

This spot is a nostalgic one, ever since when I was younger, I used to buy cotton candies and it was probably one of my most favorite snack when visiting the carnival.

MOVIE TICKETS FOR SALE

There were booths designated to sell movie tickets and it was one great experience being able to watch some movies with your schoolmates and new-found friends.

ALICE IN THE CARNIVAL

This booth is designed by our department, the SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL Grade12 and Grade 7. It was an Alice In The Wonderland-themed booth.

We also visited the booths from different departments and we could not resist taking photos.

A carnival will never be complete without a ferris wheel and they need made it perfectly just like the original one. Seeing the ferris wheel really made the entire carnival
spirit.

PHOTO BOOTH. To have a great remembrance of this fun-filled party, the photo booth is also available. You can pose all you want with your friends and newly-found acquaintances.

While having some snack at the snack house, my Grade11 students came and sold some cotton candies for ₱15.00 each. I bought all the remaining cotton candies they sold and they were so happy.

There were also a lot of dance presentations and song numbers by the talented students of Tuburan National High School that I was not able to take photos of since my phone went on lowbattery.

Overall, it was such a fun and memorable experience, this being my first acquaintance party experience here in Tuburan National High School. Looking forward for more! Ciao!
