Algo que aprecio mucho de esta etapa de mi vida es poder tener citas con mi madre. Ya saben, invitarla a comer, llevarla de compras o simplemente ir de tiendas, son cosas que nos encanta hacer juntas y valoro cada oportunidad que Dios me da para consentirla. Así que, hace unos días, cuando vino a pasar unos días a la ciudad, la invité desde temprano a pasar un día de relax.
La idea era desayunar fuera, pero el spa al que fuimos es muy concurrido y no nos dio tiempo; terminamos a las 12:00 h, y eso que llegamos a las 9:30 h 🥹. Después fuimos a almorzar y visitamos algunas tiendas para ver si le gustaba algo, pero al final compramos muy pocas cosas porque se nos pasó la tarde volando y tuvimos que despedirnos. Sin embargo, siento que nos hacía mucha falta pasar el día de esa manera, sacarla de la rutina y, sobre todo, disfrutar de su compañía. Un día de chicas es algo que toda madre e hija deberían disfrutar de vez en cuando ❤️.

Something I really appreciate about this stage of my life is being able to have dates with my mother. You know, inviting her out to lunch, taking her shopping, or just going to stores are things we love to do together, and I value every opportunity God gives me to spoil her. So, a few days ago, when she came to spend a few days in the city, I invited her early in the morning to spend a relaxing day together.
The idea was to have breakfast out, but the spa we went to is very busy and we didn't have time; we finished at 12:00 p.m., even though we arrived at 9:30 a.m. 🥹. Then we went to lunch and visited some stores to see if she liked anything, but in the end we bought very few things because the afternoon flew by and we had to say goodbye. However, I feel like we really needed to spend the day that way, to get her out of her routine and, above all, to enjoy her company. A girls' day out is something every mother and daughter should enjoy from time to time ❤️.
