Hola mi gente bonita, feliz inicio de semana, deseo como siempre de todo corazón que estén bien. Quiero contarles algunas cosas que llenan mi corazón de felicidad. La primera es que el 12 de este mes, fue nuestro aniversario de boda número 33, y aunque no festejamos por muchos motivos, agradecemos a Dios por darnos la guía para seguir juntos. No somos un matrimonio perfecto, no lo hay, pero estamos conscientes del compromiso adquirido y el papel que jugamos cada uno en nuestro hogar.

Hello my beautiful people, happy start to the week. As always, I wish with all my heart that you are all doing well. I want to tell you about some things that fill my heart with happiness. The first is that on the 12th of this month, it was our 33rd wedding anniversary, and although we didn't celebrate for many reasons, we thank God for giving us the guidance to stay together. We're not a perfect couple—there isn't one—but we're aware of the commitment we made and the role each of us plays in our home.

Creo que el mejor regalo que pude recibir, fué estar el día de ayer todos juntos en una ocasión muy especial, mis hijos, mi esposo y yo. Fueron unas horas super significativas, compartir con ellos, tomarnos fotos y sentir su amor no tiene precio.

I think the best gift I could have received was being together yesterday on a very special occasion: my children, my husband, and me. It was a few very meaningful hours. Sharing with them, taking pictures, and feeling their love is priceless.

Jonathan mi hijo mayor por lo general pasa muy poco tiempo con nosotros, él ya se independizó y adicional a eso trabaja toda la semana, que me regale un día de su descanso para pasarlo con nosotros es algo que valoro muchísimo. Sé que como familia también hemos cometido errores, pero habernos perdonados y dejar todo atrás es algo que nos ayuda a seguir adelante.

Jonathan, my oldest son, usually spends very little time with us. He's moved out on his own and works all week, so for him to give up a day of his rest to spend with us is something I value immensely. I know that as a family, we've made mistakes too, but forgiving each other and leaving the past behind is what helps us move forward.

Mis hijos son mi mayor fuerza e impulso para no rendirme en ocasiones difíciles. Mi esposo mi mayor apoyo, cuando estoy enferma a pesar de su estado de nervios y ansiedad, él siempre me hace saber que estará a mi lado.

My children are my greatest strength and motivation to not give up during difficult times. My husband is my biggest support; when I'm sick, despite his own nervousness and anxiety, he always lets me know he'll be by my side.

Me siento una mujer afortunada, pues he sabido aceptar y entender que cada miembro de mi familia es diferente, no puede ser tal y como yo quisiera. Pero a pesar de nuestros defectos, podemos disfrutar de las virtudes de cada uno, valorarnos y querernos así como somos.

I feel like a fortunate woman, because I have learned to accept and understand that each member of my family is different; they can't be exactly as I would like. But despite our flaws, we can enjoy each other's virtues, appreciate one another, and love each other just as we are.

La familia debe estar unida en todo momento, no hay mayor felicidad que esa, saber que podemos sentarnos a solucionar lo que se presente es parte de lo que nos mantiene unidos. Pido a Dios que podamos tener muchos más momentos como éstos y que nuestra permanencia en está vida sirva para seguir construyendo hermosos recuerdos.

The family must always be united; there is no greater happiness than that. Knowing we can sit down to solve any problem is part of what keeps us together. I ask God that we may have many more moments like these, and that our time in this life will be dedicated to continuing to build beautiful memories.
