Just the TOGETHERNESS, the FRIENDSHIP, and the BEAUTIFUL VIEW

Good day Hivers! I hope you are fine while reading my blog. It’s me again, the ordinary girl. I’ve been reading lately about the story of friendship, and how they become friends. It motivates me to share my experiences of friendship too.
Our friendship started late. We’ve known each other since elementary school but each one of us had a different group. Sometimes when you’re in elementary school, the common friends you have are your neighbors or relatives. M & S are already close friends while A, R, & L are also close friends even in elementary years. We civilly communicate with each other because we are not close at that time.

It was our high school years when our group of friends in elementary school separated. Then M.A.R.L.S already knew each other that we were helping each other in school matters and that’s the start of our friendship.
Friendships always have a group name and one of my friends decided that we would be called M.A.R.L.S Group.
Our group was famous during our time. If we described our group in a “First Day High” movie, it would be the Nerd High. We may not look nerd, but the focus of our group was to study harder. Our group consists of achievers. S was the top achiever in our time. Another reason why our group was famous was we actively joined in every event in our school. Every time the school had an event, our group would always present a dance presentation. Though there was no Android phone at that time, the memories of it remain.
The friendship remains strong once it is tested with challenges. Our friendship tested with problems. It was during our last year in High School when A, R, & L had a commotion because of the SK election. Their families have different opinions of the good SK Chairman. It lasted for a month I think, and we feel the tension every time we have a group discussion and meetings for school matters.
Time passed, and the friendship remained. It proves that even though our families have different cultures and beliefs, our friendship is so strong and cannot be easily destroyed.
Another challenge that we encountered was about the Relationship. We are five in a group, and we have different standards in terms of relationships. The funny thing was, that R tested the feelings of the boy who has a relationship with A, and the mission failed. The boy was tempted by another girl. That proves that his feelings for A were not true then.
R got angry and convinced A to end their relationship with the boy, but A was blindly in love with that boy at that time, the reason our friendship created another tension. Later, R supported A and proved that friendship is greater than a whirlwind relationship. The relationship of A did not last long too.

Here comes graduation day. We were happy at that time because all of our efforts were rewarded. Each one of us received a recognition. Yeah, The Nerd High.
After graduation, we went to different places to continue our studies. Lucky we are, because phones are already used as a communication tool. We may be far from each other, but the support is always there.
We may not always communicate, but for every big event in our families, we try to attend it. Like the marriage, burials, and christenings. In our dialect, we called It KBL- Kasal, Binyag at Lubong. Most of the time, we are incomplete because of some circumstances, like A was in Manila and L was in Argao, Cebu. The travel was expensive for them, so we opted to use social media to have updates on the situation.

The schedule to meet up was difficult for us. It always has a conflict. Most especially, as an adult, we keep on planning without achieving it.

But, an opportunity happened, who would have thought that After 10 years, we meet together and be able to pose again? We were complete.

No fancy restaurant, no elegant dress, no abundant food. Just the TOGETHERNESS, the FRIENDSHIP, and the BEAUTIFUL VIEW

Friendship for me, is not all about physical support but being emotional support despite the distance. Friends are the collateral that you're not alone in this world.
Friendship lasts when each one of you learns to compromise and understands each situation. Be not an attention-grabber friend but rather an understanding friend.
