Lo mejor de viajar a provincia: mis amigos (esp-eng)

¡Hola, querida comunidad de Family & Friends!
Lo mejor de mi trabajo como guitarrista concertista, (además de hacer lo que amo, que es tocar la guitarra) es poder viajar a provincias y reencontrarme con viejos amigos, hacer otros nuevos y que también ellos vengan a mi provincia, para volver a vernos. Y si estos viajes los hago con mi propia familia, mucho mejor.

El pasado año pude viajar bastante. Entre los eventos con que más cariño recuerdo están:



Por supuesto, aquí en casa se realizó a finales de año, el evento “Entre música", donde vinieron otro grandes amigos trovadores como Annalie López (Nuestra azucena) Ariel Barreiros y Yatsel Rodríguez; pero que también pude conocer a una joven cantautora de Santa Clara, a la que le dicen que es el futuro de la trova en Cuba: Alejandra del Risco y se las dejo en la foto. “Orígenes y La ruta al corazón de Martí”, invitada por @maylink y @daddyvaldes. Allí me siento como en familia y disfruto tanto de Baire y Contamaestre, de los niños de Mailin y Osmel, del arte y la historia que se respira en aquellas zonas. Si también le sumas que para allá también fueron @restaurador y Lisy García, escritores de Santa Clara y amigos míos, la felicidad es mayor. Y hablando de Ian y Lissy, el festival de música de cámara “A tempo con Caturla” es otro de mis eventos favoritos del año. Aparte de estos dos escritores, también pude ver otra vez a @roswelborges, a Elizabeth Casanovay a grandes músicos y amigos como Conrado Monier y Henry Hernández, por solo poner dos ejemplos. Imagínese: era un festival de música de concierto... para lo que nací.

Por supuesto, mis amigas del Cuarteto de Guitarras Sultasto, no podían faltar.
Hubo otros eventos en Guantánamo, en La Habana, donde siempre voy a casa de mi Maestro Jesús Ortega. Y donde este año pude abrazar nuevamente a uno de mis primeros maestros en la música: Efraín Amador, pero de esos hablaré otro día.

Por hoy, continúo repitiendo que lo mejor de los eventos es el reencuentro con los amigos. Sin ellos, no valdría la pena asistir a ellos, viajar tantas horas.
Ellos y mi familia, son y serán siempre lo mejor de mi trabajo.

The best thing about my job as a concert guitarist (besides doing what I love, which is playing the guitar) is being able to travel to the provinces and meet up with old friends, make new ones, and have them come to my province too, to see each other again. There were other events in Guantánamo, in Havana, where I always go to my Maestro Jesús Ortega's house. This year I was able to hug one of my first teachers again: Efraín Amador, but I will talk about them another day.

For today, I continue to repeat that the best thing about events is meeting up with friends. Without them, it wouldn't be worth attending them, traveling so many hours.
