Today, as I return to Hive, I can't help but feel a mixture of excitement. After months of intense workload and studies, I finally have the opportunity to reconnect with this platform again. The daily routine has been overwhelming, and the truth is that I missed the space to share and reflect on my experiences. However, December brings with it an air of calm, as many of my patients go on vacation and companies tend to close for the holiday season. This has given me a much needed respite, allowing me to resume my activities here.
Hoy, al regresar a Hive, no puedo evitar sentir una mezcla de emoción. Después de meses de intensa carga laboral y estudios, finalmente tengo la oportunidad de reconectar con esta plataforma nuevamente. La rutina diaria ha sido abrumadora, y la verdad es que extrañaba el espacio para compartir y reflexionar sobre mis experiencias. Sin embargo, diciembre trae consigo un aire de calma, ya que muchos de mis pacientes se van de vacaciones y las empresas suelen cerrar por la jornada decembrina. Esto me ha brindado un respiro necesario, permitiéndome retomar mis actividades aquí.
Yesterday afternoon, after attending to the patients that were left on my agenda, I realized that my work material was in a rather precarious situation. Upon checking, I noticed that I was missing needles and moxas, indispensable elements for my treatments. Without these supplies, I would not be able to continue my work. So I decided to pick up the phone and call my partner @dlizara to tell her that I had to go buy these essential materials.
Ayer en la tarde, después de atender a los pacientes que quedaron en mi agenda, me di cuenta de que mi material de trabajo estaba en una situación bastante precaria. Al revisar, noté que me faltaban agujas y moxas, elementos indispensables para hacer mis tratamientos. Sin estos suministros, no podría continuar con mi labor. Así que decidí tomar el teléfono y llamar a mi pareja @dlizara para comentarle que debía ir a comprar estos materiales esenciales.
I explained to her that I had run out of supplies and that I did not know how I was going to handle it in the coming days. To my relief, she listened attentively and then suggested going and accompanying me to Las Américas shopping center, located on Avenida Las Delicias, in the city of Maracay. This place is known for its wide variety of stores and products at more affordable prices with respect to this material. My partner assured me that I could find what I needed there without any problems. Anyway, we went to the place.
Le expliqué que me había quedado sin suministros y que no sabía cómo iba a manejarlo en los próximos días. Para mi alivio, ella escuchó atentamente y, después, me sugirió ir y acompañarme al centro comercial Las Américas, ubicado en Avenida Las Delicias, en la ciudad de Maracay. Este lugar es conocido por su amplia variedad de tiendas y productos a precios más accesibles con respecto a este material. Mi pareja me aseguró que allí podría encontrar lo que necesitaba sin problemas. En fin, nos fuimos al lugar.
With her recommendation in mind, I made the decision to go and invite her to the mall. Upon arrival, the atmosphere was festive; Christmas lights adorned every corner. I headed to the second floor of the mall, where there is a store that specializes in Chinese goods. Here in this place they usually sell at affordable prices. Upon entering, there were different products, from kitchen utensils to health items in various presentations. I asked the Chinese man if he had moxas and Chinese needles and the price. He told me that the cost of a box of both medical supplies was $6 each. Quickly, I told him to send them to me, and I went to the cashier to pay.
Con su recomendación en mente, tomé la decisión de ir e invitarla al centro comercial. Al llegar, el ambiente era festivo; las luces navideñas adornaban cada rincón. Me dirigí al segundo piso del centro comercial, donde hay una tienda que se especializa en artículos chinos. Aquí en este lugar suelen vender a precios económicos. Al entrar, había distintos productos, utensilios de cocina hasta artículos de salud en varias presentaciones. Le pregunté al Sr. chino, si tenía moxas y agujas chinas y el precio. El cual me contestó que costaba la caja de ambos materiales médicos en 6 $ c/u. Rápidamente, le dije que me los despachara, y me dirigí a la caja a cancelar.
Grateful for my partner's recommendation; it had been a quick and effective solution to a problem that could have caused inconvenience in my work.

When I left that place I invited my partner @dlizara to have lunch, I took advantage of the fact that it was lunch time and we were hungry. We headed to the fair and there we chose to eat and taste Chinese food. We enjoyed the moment with laughter and satisfaction, we went to several places and the mall was beautifully decorated.
Al salir de ese local invité a mi pareja @dlizara a almorzar aproveché que era hora de almuerzo y teníamos hambre, nos dirigimos a la feria y allí escogimos comer y degustar comida china. Disfrutamos el momento con risas y con satisfacción, fuimos a varios lugares y estaba muy bonito decorado el centro comercial.
As I left the mall, I felt a weight off, since I had my medical supplies and now without worries I could continue with my treatments without any setbacks. The experience reminded me of the importance of mutual support in relationships; sometimes a simple suggestion can make the difference between stress and peace of mind.
Al salir del centro comercial, sentí un peso menos, ya que tenía mi material médico y ya sin preocupaciones podría continuar con mis tratamientos sin contratiempos. La experiencia me recordó la importancia del apoyo mutuo en las relaciones; a veces, una simple sugerencia puede marcar la diferencia entre el estrés y la tranquilidad.
Back home I thought I am ready to resume my activities with renewed energy and enthusiasm. This experience not only allowed me to solve a logistical problem, but also to share a different and pleasant time with my partner.
So here I am, ready to face the rest of the month with optimism and gratitude. I hope to be able to share more experiences in Hive and continue connecting with this community that has always been a source of inspiration for me.
De regreso a casa pensé que estoy listo para retomar mis actividades con renovada energía y entusiasmo. Esta experiencia no solo me permitió resolver un problema logístico, sino compartir también con mi pareja un rato distinto y agradable.
Así que aquí estoy, preparado para enfrentar el resto del mes con optimismo y gratitud. Espero poder compartir más experiencias en Hive y seguir conectando con esta comunidad que siempre ha sido una fuente de inspiración para mí .
