Picnic Date With Friends: A Picnic To Remember 🧺🎀

Sunshine and smiles, Hivers! I'm back again with another blog post. In this blog, I’m excited to share to you all how my best friends and I plan a picnic date. Let's get started!

Fhaneza, Sam, and I decided to have a picnic date on the weekend because we wanted to experience a picnic date on the mountains or like the videos in the TikTok wherein people do picnics at forest or lake. We had been planning this for quite long time, and this was the day we finally made it happen. We began our day by buying all the ingredients to make carbonara and some snacks.

After we buy everything we needed, we went to Fhaneza's house to cook the carbonara and prepare the food for our picnic. We chose to have our picnic in the mountains since Fhaneza told us that the place has a stunning view and is perfect for a picnic. Unfortunately, when we arrived, it started to rain and Fhaneza told us that it was dangerous to go there when it's raining. We choose to have our picnic on the terrace at Fhaneza's aunt's house instead. It wasn't a bad place to have a picnic, since the view was still nice, and there was a pool nearby if we wanted to take a swim.

Here's our pictures while we were making our food ready for the picnic. Fhaneza and I cooked the carbonara while Sam took photos of us and keep talking. Sam isn’t really into cooking, so her role was to take a pictures and keep joking around.

Fhaneza has a lot of cats and dogs on their house. Here’s one of her cats, patiently waiting for us to finish preparing our food. This cat is adorable, and Fhaneza mentioned that this cat was always sleeping and hanging out in their kitchen. This cat was not bothering us, he was just looking what we were doing.

We also cook fries since Sam isn’t a fan of carbonara, which is why we decided to cook a fries for her.

Here’s a photo of our cooked carbonara. We used Barilla shell pasta to our carbonara that was given to Fhaneza's aunt. Instead of buying pasta, we used the shell pasta to less the expenses.

This is the area we decided to do our picnic date; as you can see, the area is spacious and has a swing that we can use it whenever we want. We started to arrange our picnic and laid out all the food we prepared.

Here’s our food for our picnic. We had carbonara, fries, lots of biscuits, crackers, marshmallows, and wafers. We choose for orange juice for our drink since we didn’t want to drink carbonated beverages and orange juice is fit for our picnic.

We also took pictures while eating and enjoying our food. As you can see on the picture, we look really happy and a bit hungry, haha. Apreal couldn’t join us for the picnic because she had a date with her girlfriend.

This is our time-lapse video of eating our food and chatting with each other. We even shared some food with Fhaneza's cousin, who was swimming in the pool because we didn’t finish everything we prepared.

This picnic was particularly special to us since this was our last picnic with Sam. I think we deserve this picnic as a reward because we’ve been doing well in school.

We set aside some Carbonara for our other friends who couldn’t join our picnic because they asked us to bring them some Carbonara tomorrow because they want to try it.

And that's the end of my blog, Hivers! Having this kind of friendship during college is something I cherish the most. Not all college student is lucky enough to find such a supportive group of friends. We should be grateful for friends who have our backs, because not everyone is genuinely kind to you.
