Whenever I love, I love hard. I don't hold back; my affection and support are unwavering. I fully embrace and encourage my partner's passions, no matter what they are.
The love of my life is an incredible basketball player, and I admire his talent and dedication to the sport. It's not just about watching him play — it's about understanding how much it means to him. Every time he plays, I take pride in being a partner who cheers him on, whether on or off the court.
He is part of a Mayor's Cup team that represents one community in our town. Since day one of the league, I have been there cheering for their team until they hit the finals.
It was a much-awaited competition, and you can see that with the number of audience sitting on the benches. They are the title holders or Champions from last year's league, so this game is a real deal to him.
During the finals, we made some efforts for the team. I brought a number eight (8) balloon that I used while cheering him on since it is his jersey number. And he chose that number because it's my birth date. I was waving the balloon whenever he scored, and I had another cute cheering material.
One of our barangay officials prepared cut-out photos of every player, and they handed one to me. I proudly held and waved it whenever he did something for the team. I barely heard the others cheering because I thought I was louder, and I even stood up and jumped whenever my partner scored — a proud cheerleader moment.
