Pertenecen a una etapa que ninguno de nosotros olvidará: la pandemia, el encierro, la incertidumbre… y la escuela en casa.
Happiness and blessings to the entire Family & Friends Community! Today we want to share these photos with you; they're almost five years old. They belong to a time none of us will forget: the pandemic, the lockdown, the uncertainty… and homeschooling.
En ese tiempo, Michelle estudiaba desde el hogar, en un contexto que no era ideal, que no fue fácil y que nos exigió a todos adaptarnos más rápido de lo que hubiéramos querido. Hoy, al mirar atrás, no podemos evitar detenernos un momento y respirar profundo.
Porque el tiempo pasa.
Y pasa rápido.
At that time, Michelle was studying from home, in a less than ideal and difficult situation that forced us all to adapt faster than we would have liked. Today, looking back, we can't help but pause for a moment and take a deep breath. Because time passes. And it passes quickly.
Verla crecer
Como padres, pocas cosas son tan conmovedoras como ver crecer a una hija.
No solo físicamente, sino en carácter, en sensibilidad, en fuerza interior.
Michelle creció en medio de cambios, de mudanzas, de procesos migratorios, de ajustes que no siempre se ven desde afuera.
Y aun así, nunca ha dejado de ser ella.
Watching Her Grow As parents, few things are as moving as watching a daughter grow. Not just physically, but in character, sensitivity, and inner strength. Michelle grew up amidst changes, moves, migration processes, and adjustments that aren't always visible from the outside. And yet, she has never stopped being herself.
Un rayo de sol constante
A pesar de las desavenencias, de los momentos difíciles y de las condiciones que no siempre fueron las mejores, ella ha sido y sigue siendo un rayo de sol en nuestras vidas.
Con su manera de ser, con su luz, con esa capacidad tan natural de seguir adelante, de adaptarse y de sorprendernos una y otra vez.
Muchas veces, incluso, superando cualquier expectativa que como padres pudiéramos tener.
A constant ray of sunshine Despite disagreements, difficult times, and less-than-ideal circumstances, she has been—and continues to be—a ray of sunshine in our lives. With her personality, her light, and that natural ability to keep going, to adapt, and to surprise us time and time again. Many times, she even surpassed any expectations we, as parents, could have had.
El orgullo silencioso de ser padres
Ser padres no siempre se trata de grandes logros visibles.
A veces es simplemente observar, acompañar, sostener… y sentir orgullo en silencio.
- Orgullosos de verla crecer.
- Orgullosos de su sensibilidad.
- Orgullosos de su fortaleza.
- Orgullosos de la persona en la que se está convirtiendo
The Silent Pride of Being Parents Being parents isn't always about great, visible achievements. Sometimes it's simply about observing, accompanying, supporting… and feeling quiet pride. Pride in watching her grow. Pride in her sensitivity. Pride in her strength. Pride in the person she is becoming.
Mirar atrás para agradecer
Hoy compartimos estas imágenes no desde la nostalgia, sino desde la gratitud.
Porque incluso en los momentos más complejos, hubo crecimiento, hubo aprendizaje y hubo amor.
Y porque, al final,el tiempo pasa… pero el vínculo permanece.
Looking back to give thanks Today we share these images not from nostalgia, but from gratitude. Because even in the most challenging times, there was growth, there was learning, and there was love. And because, in the end, time passes… but the bond remains.
