Love is in the Air: Marinel & Aljun

May your coffee be strong, and your day be beautiful! Good day, Hives! It's me again, Ace26, your Gwapo (handsome) blogger from the Philippines.

Today I will be sharing with you all our experience at my cousin's wedding.

my cousin Marinel who is the bride invited us to be at her wedding and also she requested that our son Ace be her bible bearer I also accepted his invitation.

Around 8 in the morning, we arrived at the Dulcé Hotel where the preparation was done, when we arrived at the room everyone already had their make makeup including the bride but we were not in a rush because Ace was just to change his clothes.

So while the entourage was having their pictorial, my wife got the opportunity to change our daughter's clothes.

Since the motif was sage green I also bought myself a sage green polo shirt and my daughter an abstract colour but it was okay since it has also a sage green on his dress.

When everyone was back in the room everyone appreciated my daughter because Chloe looked like a princess and the photographer also took a photo of Chloe.

After everyone is ready the coordinator signals us that we have to go to the lobby, so we all go down to the lobby.

After we waited for a few minutes because they had a pictorial for the bride's maid and groom's men with their gowns and suits.

While waiting for them to finish I saw my daughter holding the bouquet of the flower girls, my daughter was also one of the flower girls but my wife did not agree because Chloe might not walk down the aisle and just make tantrums since she was just 1 year old and kids like that are uncontrollable.

Then my wife decided that we should go first to the church since our son was on the entourage van, so we left the hotel and rode my motorcycle to the St.Francis de Assisi Parish.

We just waited for a few minutes to start the ceremony but far from where we were seated I already saw Aljun shaking and you will see how nervous he was.

Even though it was his turn to walk down the aisle he started to teary-eyed and when she hugged his mother and his father he started crying.

Then the entourage walked down the aisle until it was my son's turn I am so proud of my son that day he was so serious walking and holding carefully on the bible and also he is so handsome just like his father (kidding aside hehe).

After that, it was my cousin's turn to walk down the aisle and taking into every woman's dream, her brother and her mother were the ones who would escort him to the aisle since her father was already in the hands of our Almighty God.

While she was walking towards his few minutes future husband's she also cried hugging his brother everyone who attended that wedding started to cry even my wife since my wife and the bride were best friends.

Then the groom picked his bride they both cried the ceremony stopped for a while because the groom was crying while hugging his bride.

After a few minutes of hugging and crying to each other, they walk down the aisle holding hands and facing the blessing of God.

After the ceremony, they have a little family and friends pictorial for souvenirs and also for the same day edit videos and photos.

After that, while the entourage is having their pictorial the guests slowly get outside and one by one travel to the reception which the reception will take 30 minutes from Naga Cebu to South Town Centre in Tabunok Talisay.

When we arrived at the reception there were a few people so I decided to take some photos of the reception.

What I love in their decoration is the ceiling works and also the fog effects and the spectacular lights.

They also had an LED wall with the photo of the bride and groom on the screen.

I was also amazed by the principal sponsor's table setting of the table.

After 30 minutes of waiting finally the newlywed couple arrived together with his entourage.

Then the lively emcee does some games like Bring Me which makes the people enjoy that night after those tiring games, They proceed on the first dance of the newlywed couple which in the Philippines they will put some money on the gown and suit of the couple while the couple is dance.

After that, we are called by the coordinator to take a photo together with the couple and after that picture taking we can fall in line to get our food.

What an emotion twisted that day, we all laughed, enjoyed, cried amd nervous at the same time but thankfully everything went well they finally tied the knot.

Hopefully, I can do that also at my wedding, I also wanted a fairytale wedding for my wife since it was just a once-in-a-lifetime celebration aside from the debut of a woman but for now, I will strive and save for that day.
