Regarding the price, it is something very variable at the moment, at its launch, the controller was between 47 and 60 Euros, but in pages like Amazon, alibaba, and among others, we can currently find the controller between 80 and 100 Euros
That's very expensive for a controller by Xiaomi. I was expecting a lower price. In my opinion, 4000 INR is too expensive for a controller. I remember a time when my friend and I were searching for a ps4 controller under 3000 inr and the one we could only find was from cheap brands. So we had to go for the sony controller which was sold for 4650 INR. I was expecting a price under 3500 INR from Xiaomi.
Indeed, perhaps it is due to the quality elements that have been used, its durability can be quite high, it is the best there is technically, about $40 or $50, would have been a perfect price.
It could be said that its real price is quite low, but due to shipping and other aspects to the rest of the world, it is inevitable that it will go up by 30 or 40$ for the long journeys. When it becomes more widespread, the cost will surely go down, I'm sure I can find it at the time in about 50~60$.
With this happens as with the PS5, at the beginning it was for exaggerated prices, and 2 or 3 months later, it was already established at greatly reduced prices, hopefully the same happens with this great controller, I want it for my pc and my phone, I currently have the X3, but it does not have support for many games, in fact, I kept it in its box since I bought it.
The design of the Xiaomi gamepad elite edition looks new and cool. Must give it a try to give a honest opinion. I hope they are using xbox drivers inside it for giving maximum compatibility to the windows games.
