I ended 2023 and began 2024 pretty same, by gaming a lot. I was in doubt about whether to buy God of War or not when it was the Winter Sale on Steam, but I can't wait to give this one a shot too :)

I precisely took advantage of the year-end sales, I needed to continue the first one, it is a great game, it was GOTY in its launch year, the good thing is that it leaves you wanting more and that is why it is exciting to play this one.
I feel you! My first experience with God of War was when I was barely 10 years old playing the game on a neighbour's PSP. I miss those times!
That's why the most recent DLC called Valhalla came out, a hack and slash that evokes those times, because the most recent story was very far from that style of play.
Good to know! I think I'd also prefer the main style of play at least for the sake of nostalgia.
