Soulstice | Unbound [No Commentary Gameplay]

Time for a new boss battle. This time we are battling one of the Transcendent Chimeras. This is the floating head the one made of two brothers who where bound to this duty by choice.

This time, they show some new tricks. For example, there's a new enemy that comes from inside the head. This Colossus can use the half of the heads as shields to perform a bashing attack. It can also attack in many other ways. The tactic is to keep ourselves close to the creature and switch between the fastest weapons we have at our disposal.

Once the Colossus falls to the ground, we can attack their crystal. This is the source of power for Chimeras. We have seen this thing before. And it is actually the only way to damage this enemy.

However, when the creature falls, it will get back into the head. And we will have to face this part dodging the beam attacks thrown at us. The sequence of the attacks is easy but the rhythm varies to make it more challenging. We need to keep an eye for Lute's parries to make the whole task easier.

Once they head overload, their ears will become vulnerable. And we will have to use both fields to crack it open. Then, the cycle beings again.

Defeating the head leaves its crystal behind. And we will absorb it. This will create a chain reaction sending us back to our memories under the control of Lute. This time we will see a different version of the origins of our protagonists. It seems we were looking at made memories. Now, we know the truth and Briar keeps getting stronger.
