Yesterday (on 2022.11.24) I wrote that We ordered 3 quintal (300 kg) wood approximately for $72.91 USD.
Today afternoon they brought 3.20 quintal wood, instead of 3 quintal. It was a little bit more expensive. It was 30 580 Hungarian Forint (HUF), which is currently $77.03 USD, because $1 USD is currently 397.00 HUF. My brother paid for it, as we previously discussed it.
Most of the wood is currently in the garden. We brought only a very small amount of wood into the room. Most of them is in a bag/sack, and a few of them are on the ground.
Probably we will burn this tonight. The current temperature outside is 3 ˚C, but our room is warm. Actually it is hot. Especially near the heater. So we are good.
Today the weather was mostly cloudy, with a little amount of sunshine. There is still no snow outside.
A puddle. There was a quiet rain yesterday.
Probably this wood will be enough at least for one month. We will see.

Is crazy for me to see all the things that are needed to keep peeoples alive during winter... I dont live those kinds of things in Venezuela... and crazier to know that there are even others country like Canadá that are worse
The coldest month in my country (in Hungary) is usually February. Sometimes the temperature go below -20 °C. Rarely even below -30 °C. Canada is indeed worse in this aspect, because the temperature can go below -40 °C in Canada. Very good to live in a country, where the temperature is not going below 10 °C. The life of the people, who live in such a country is much easier in this aspect, because they do not have to heat their rooms in the winter.
It's nice to see your room is getting warmer by means of a wood-fired heater. We usually don't need heating in the winter, but we need cooling in the Summer. From March we use room air conditioning systems and from that month the electricity bills go crazy, hard to pay. 😣

I am from a small town in Manitoba,Canada ,We burn wood in winter plus we have electric heaters in the bedroom .But we have it easy cause we are not that far North. The farther north you go the colder it gets. In places close to the Norhwest Territorial border it is between - 30 to -45 C. This is where wood is more expensive.. Not only wood but so are everyday products.they have to be flown in by plain or by ship and by rail. I don't know what your products are worth in your country I'm sure they are very expensive .I am going to follow you.

Expensive products, very high (currently 27%) VAT (currently this is the highest VAT in Europe), low salary, weak currency. $1 CAD is currently 292.50 Hungarian Forint (HUF). Nowadays this is the general economic situation in my country (in Hungary). Our coldest month is usually the February. The temperature can go below -20 °C. Rarely even below -30 °C. The lowest was -35 °C so far. This was on 1940.02.16 on Görömbölytapolca (Miskolctapolca since 1950).
