The last time I uploaded photos about my Harris's hawk was almost a month ago. 21 days ago: My Harris's hawk (2022.01.24).
Currently she can properly stand on my arm, and now she can also properly grip with her claws. Today I decided to take a few photos about her. I took these photos after feeding her. There is a very small piece of meat on the tip of her beak, and on her feathers.
I took these photos with my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy A12) in the afternoon. I edited these photos with Snapseed (Android application).

She is not a wild hawk. She is from a breeder. And we (my hawk and me) love each other. I often give her food by hand. She takes it from my hand. I literally live and sleep with her. She is very friendly and very intelligent.
But this is not a big surprise knowing that Harris's hawks are the only social predatory birds. So they live and hunt in groups in nature. This is why people often call them the wolves of the air.

This varies. According to Wikipedia, Harris's hawks range in length from 46 to 59 cm (18 to 23 in) and generally have a wingspan of about 103 to 120 cm (41 to 47 in).

Usually I feed her pigeon and chicken meat, and Lavet calcium tablets (crushed into dust, on the meat). I know a few pigeon breeders, who sell their pigeons with a friendly price (huge discount), because they know that I use the pigeons to feed my hawk (some people buy pigeons to resell them).
Otherwise a whole pigeon would be very expensive. For example I buy pigeons for around 200-300 HUF ($0.63 USD - $0.95 USD). Some breeders kill the pigeon in front of me, so I get a fresh, literally a warm pigeon. The normal pigeon price would be around 500-1000 HUF ($1.58 USD - $3.17 USD), and sometimes even more, depending on the type of the pigeon. One pigeon is usually enough for her for 1-2 days. And for more days, if the weather is hot.
So usually her food would be around $10 USD and $30 USD per month, if I would feed him clearly on pigeons. The mixed diet is somewhat cheaper, because the chicken meat is cheaper. I buy the chicken meat in the stores, not from breeders.
Usually I can feed her for around $10 USD - $20 USD per month.

Wow. Totally fascinating. We have a budgie. She sucks at laying eggs 🙈 she has one that's impacted at the moment.
Once she is old enough is she going it alone, back to the wild. Gorgeous bird who I assume will enjoy chicken necks for dinner!

She lives with me. She is not from the wild, but from a breeder. Owning, keeping and breeding a Harris's hawk is legal for everyone in my country (in Hungary).
If you live in the USA, then you need to be a licensed falconer, and as I know, you also need government permissions to do the above mentioned things.
I know that you live in South Africa. I do not know what are the rules/laws there.
I feed her mostly pigeon and chicken meat.

Permits with strict regulations following conservation are the route followed, I visited Falcon Ridge on my previous trip to the Drakensberg.

Yes. That is true. Not many people keep a Harris's hawk like this. I live and sleep with her. We love each other, and she is more tame and more friendly than many people's cats and dogs.
They are very cute. Interesting that the black cat have white paws. We had two similar black cats (one male and one female) in the past (approximately a decade ago), and their paws were black.
